Sadly, we entrusted the care of our beloved cats to the vets at Bush for years. We have now moved all of them and will never go back. One problem went unresolved for years, with numerous rounds of testing and relapses, until we had to move out-of-state temporarily. The out-of-state vet (and not a fancy one) solved it in one visit. Another problem was diagnosed correctly but grievously under-treated. We had no idea how serious it was, so we did exactly as they instructed, which was far too little. We called repeatedly to report that things were not improving, but they put us off until the time of the originally-scheduled follow-up visit. At that point it was too late. When we complained to the vet who saw us, she said it would be "too awkward" to tell the diagnosing vet that we were furious at the delay and neglect. Getting the records transferred to another vet was a further struggle, as Bush would not answer the calls from the other vets office, and it took numerous direct calls myself finally to get them transferred. The intake exam with the new vet showed, not surprisingly at this point, that other problems had gone undiscovered. The Bush vets seem competent, but they are not proactive and they are not forthcoming with information. Protect your furry friends and take them somewhere else.

Exceptional care from the phone call making the appointment to walking out the door at the end. Receptionist was friendly, helpful, and professional. Two of the doctors were specifically recommended by another veterinarian but I was assured any of the doctors would be good. We were able to see Dr. Gibson as requested but I would not have been disappointed otherwise. First visit with my 3 month old Vizsla. The staff played with the pup and oriented her to the office, then the tech did a careful evaluation and health history - offering assistance where she felt competent but encouraging me to discuss some issues with the doctor. Dr. Gibson spent an hour with "Josey" and me - examining, evaluating, and answering questions. She then gave me answers to several questions that I had forgotten to ask :-) We were looking for a veterinarian who really had special skills with canines. As a dentist myself, I have lots of questions and can be challenging of conventional thinking but Dr. Gibson was happy to address all my concerns, thoughts, and ideas. I could not be more pleased.

I do not recommend the Bush Animal Hospital. Their fees are very high. They charge $75 just for an exam. I brought my dog in because she was licking her paws, I thought she may have had a foxtail in her paw, but they just looked at her and said, allergies. They did not even try to look in between her pads. They charge me $111 for the exam, some power to put on her paws and a small bottle of a medicated solution to soak her paws in. She ended up not having either a foxtail or allergies, she was licking her paws due to a fractured tooth that was bothering her. When I called back to find out what they would charge for a tooth extraction, bloodwork, etc. They quoted me from $1039 - $1091 for just one tooth. Then they tried to sell me their “PAWS PLAN”, you sign a contract and have a monthly fee (which they determine the amount) extracted out of your bank account if you can’t come up with the money right away. I found another Vet that only charged half the price. Don’t come here unless you have money to burn.

Sold us a "paw plan". When there last, vet told us 1 dog needed dental work. He explained that was not covered by the paw plan. Which I have no problem with. They then did other stuff, not mentioning that it was not covered. 4 days later I got an unexpected invoice. Not happy. Had I known the costs, I would have waited on one, and been ready for the bill on the other. Whilst my dog was out of sight, without asking or informing, they trimmed his claws. I thought that was kind. Until that too appeared on an invoice!!! We are moving to a vet with concepts that match our own; communication, honesty, that sort of thing.

Our experience with Bush Animal Hospital has been truly remarkable. We feel very fortunate that we have found a place where each of the staff genuinely cares for our dog. Staff is so friendly and caring, facility is clean and welcoming, and the price is fair. In fact, we have been shown a few times that at Bush Animal Hospital the priority is not to create the highest bill, but to be sure the animal being treated is healthy and happy at a fair and reasonable cost. We are very, very happy with the care our dog receives there and would recommend Dr. Newman and his staff to anyone.

The team at Bush Animal Hospital has cared for our pets for years. Weve depended on them and their expertise to keep our pet pals happy and healthy. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Theyve provided annual check-ups, managed various health crises, maintained immunizations, and even performed pet dental work. Theyre excellent at following up after treatments. I have recommended them to others multiple times without hesitation. If youre looking for quality services at comparable prices to their competition then check them out!

Over the past 10 years or so Bush Animal Hospital has been our primary Veterinarian for our total of 8 cats & kittens of which we now have 5. Over this time period we have found no staff member or Vet. that didnt really care about our pets.Someone from BAH has always been there to help us determine the best and appropriate care needed. Particularly we appreciate beyond words, the loving and heart-felt care Priscilla Gibson provides when aiding in end of life arrangements at home.

Im very happy we discovered Bush Animal Hospital. They are an amazing veterinary clinic- the entire staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and Dr. Beyerinck is amazing with our black lab. Our dog actually *likes* going to the vet! Weve had our pup for only 3.5 months and in that time hes managed to catch kennel cough and Giardia. The staff has been so understanding every time Ive called after visits to ask more questions. I highly recommend this clinic.

Had just moved to Oregon from Minnesota and the vet went over things I should be aware of that I hadnt been in Minnesota. (Fleas arent a problem in MN but are in OR). Was a little pricey and probably could have found somewhere cheaper but I was satisfied with the care.

They are great! Always happy to see my dog and they take good care of him. Even if you dont have an appointment and its an emergency they are quick to get you in. And they do a follow up call the next day to see how your pet is doing.
