Neighbor recommended this place, for our new puppy almost 2 years ago.. After several visits I requested NOT to see thevet as issues we were having with our dog werent being resolved with her prescriptions or recommendations. (Numerous visits with the same unresolved issue can take a toll on your wallet) Brought him in for a different set of issues at 6 months old and was told my dog has red eye, she gives me drops, months later I bring him in she gives me cream.. (all the while telling me how horrible and wild he is because he wont sit still, not sure what dog would when youre in their eye.. but thats another subject) 3rd visit, I bring up the eye issue AGAIN..And this time my dog needs surgery, alarming yes, because this is the first I hear of it.. I did regret not getting second opinions, two other places were booked weeks out and I was told the longer I let it go it could lead to blindness .. so I opted to get it done.. I sign the consents of what I agree to and what I dont. Upon picking him up..the tech tells us that the good old that I havent been fond of (Whitney Trepel) surgery, (prior to surgery you sign consents on what you want and what you dont) upon picking our dog up we were informed by the tech that Whitney Trepel "wanted me to let you know that she also did surgery on both lower lids free of charge" .. I paid for upper lids, pretty sure its not even legal to do something unauthorized unless its life threatening, but even then Im pretty sure you still consult with the owner. We asked our questions and went on our way... time comes to take out stitches surprise surprise more charges my dog needs to be sedated to do this. (No mention of this at anytime previously) after a week my dog has a droopy eye with tissue hanging out, he looks like somethings wrong with him.. (I paid upwards of 2k for him from a reputable breeder in another state) I make an appt to go in as Im concerned about my dog that looks half zombie. She tells me it may go away it may not thats just something that can happen. AGAIN.. another thing not mentioned, I asked many questions and watched a bunch of videos of the surgery trying to educate myself on what would be going on.. here we are 2 months later, my dog whom I love regardless, looks ridiculous, because the tissue is pushed out, hes always getting dirt and things in his eye because the eyelid isnt flush.. I dont think shes experienced in doing entropian surgery, Ive gotten 2 doctors opinions and regret having it done here.. I wont get it fixed unless we need to but we wont be taking our pup back to this place for any reason. My 4 neighbors stopped taking their Animals as well.. Im beyond dissatisfied..

I was disappointed and even angry. I expected Healthy Pets Animal Hospital to treat my pets wound when I took her in today, but she came home in the same shape as she was before. My Chocolate Lab just got fleas and started itching. Weve never had them before, so I didnt notice them right away. But, when I looked at my dogs stomach, there was a wound that was about a quarter round in size and slightly deep. My husband took her in to get the wound checked out and hopefully treated, and to ask about flea medicine for the dog and our two cats. The vet only looked at the wound. Did not wash it, shave the area, put cream on it, or cover it with any bandage. Nothing. Then told us that they were out of the cream we should use on her, and we would have to come back tomorrow and pick it up. Also, had us buy a flea medicine tablet for the dog - which was fine. But sent home Revolution medicine for my 8 pound kitten. The medicine listed right on the package it was supposed be be for a 15 - 22 point cat. And, it said it on the paperwork they sent home, too - with a note that her weight was last known to be 6.5 pounds. Now why would they send home meds meant for a 15 pound minimum cat to a kitten? Then, since they have not ever seen our other cat, told us we had to buy that cats medicine from the pet store. O.K., fine. We should have just gone to the pet store in the first place and saved ourselves the $47.50 charge to see the vet who did not do anything at all! Im not going back to get the cream for my dog, Ill just use a triple antibiotic ointment and human Benadryl. I need to find a vet that actually cares!

I took my cat in because he had grass stuck in his nose. I was in school at the time so I opted to do a drop off appointment to avoid missing class. I gave them permission to what they saw fit to help him, expecting that they would take xrays and put him under anesthesia to physically look for it. They told me that the xrays only showed that his lungs looked asmatic, but when i asked to see the xrays a few months later, i realized that they DID NOT xray his head, only his torso. They did every possible test including full bloodwork and racked up my bill as high as possible. He was in the back all day without a litter box and they returned him to me covered in urine. I thought this was going to be a decent vet because of the other good reviews, but I feel like they took total advantage of me not physically being there to rack up the bill when I knew exactly what the real problem was.

I love my Veterinarians! and I know they love my pets. The staff at Healthy pets is so caring, and treats us like part of the family. Everybody at this practice is so wonderful to deal with. I have been to many veterinary offices over the course of my pets lives, and I feel like I have found the "Gem". Vet offices can get very busy, with staff taking multitasking to a new level, but I have been going to Healty Pets for many years, and I have to say that I am VERY pleased with the service and level of care. Dr. Young and Dr. Rosinski are top notch, and go above and beyond the call of duty for their patients. Thank you for being there for my furry family.

My family and I recently moved to Washington state from Florida. We were very worried about taking our two dogs to a new veterinarian since they are both rescue dogs and very used to our old veterinarian. The vet technician had very unprofessional and unfriendly demeanor. After leaving everything seemed okay until we notice an excess of dried blood on our corgis back paw. This, to me, is completely unacceptable for something as routine as a nail trimming. If we can not trust this vet just to trim our pets nails there is no way we could trust them with anything else.

Healthy pets is, hands down, one of the best veterinary experiences weve ever had. They take great care of our cats, and have always provided a warm, welcoming atmosphere. They also manage the amazing balancing act of discreetly, honestly and non-judgmentally discussing pricing. While they are (on the average) a bit (between 10 and 20 dollars, it seems) more expensive than some of the other local vets, its worth it. We havent yet brought in our dogs (they have a long standing relationship with another vet), we will be when the time comes.
