I agree.. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I was driving past the bently road area and my three year old grandson started screaming in pain with his eye. I pulled in and told them that he may have stuck himself but I was unsure. The lady at the front informed me that they did not take his insurance but if I would wait the nurse would look at this eye to make sure he is okay. I greatfully waited for 25 minutes. the nurse called us to the back, asked him if is eye hurt and gave him a wet papertowel to put on it and told me I needed to take him to the er in Silverdale because they did not take his insurance. I ask her if she could at least look at it to make sure there was nothing in it, she told me she could not she was not the doctor. Then she asked me to sign a document stating that she had referred me to the er. We waited for 25 minutes, not to be seen but to sign a waiver. The childs pain and suffering meant nothing to them, just making sure they had a document signed for legal coverage. I would have paid to have him seen, I wasnt even given the option. The practice manager said I misunderstood the reason for being asked to stay. Why would I have pulled into urgent care to get my grandson urgently seen because of his pain and then sit in the lobby just to sign a waiver and be dismissed without being seen. I have never seen the lack of care in 30 years around children and their doctors. This practice is shameful. I could have had him at the er 20 minutes away for the time we wasted in the lobby thinking it was to be seen to make sure his eye was okay. He was three years old and was crying in pain. Thanks for nothing. They got their waiver signed but they lost more than they gained, the lost understanding of doctors care hence the word...urgent care. paperwork they got down pat. who cares that a child was in pain? I contacted the practice manager Julie Anderson. She was rude and condescending, absolutely sure that I was the problem and not their policy. No concern for the child just that they did their job. How I wonder did they do their job considering care urgent care was their job and we were made to wait while a child suffer to be told to go away unseen without care. This complaint would not be told had I simply been told the insurance card was not accepted but the er would see him.I would have been on my way to the er and not left to wait in the lobby at a doctors office that knew they would not see the child but needed to insure that they did not get into legal trouble by sending a medical emergency away. What happened to integrity? My grandson could have been seen by a doctor in another location an hour earlier had they not deceived us into waiting for their own selfish purpose.

Im a forty-year veteran RN, with a graduate education (and twelve years of higher education)... because it is close to impossible to get medical care in this community due to lack of primary care docs... everyone goes there for everything. If you are at all sick--dont go! Theres nowhere to lie down (even in the exam rooms)... and they are not equipped to deal with anything "serious". Furthermore, the knowledge base of most of the staff is extremely limited--so dont go if you are very knowledgable, because they will "short-circuit" you... and maybe, like they did to me, label you "psychiatric"... (I AM a dramatic and passionate person-- but very sane). So, dont even go there expecting to be "allowed into the Bremerton medical system"--which is unnegotiable, for the most part--even if you have the means to pay for it. This is NOT the way to get into a specialist... these guys dont know what they are seeing/doing

This place is a joke. I went here because of a sore throat that has lasted for two weeks. That was my main reason for going. They checked everything from my ears to my chest and a couple seconds at my throat, They wouldnt give me antibiotics which is what I know I need because they said it could bake it worse or I can get an allergic reaction. I told them I had yellow phlegm coming from my nose and when I needed to cough up something. They said nothing about the sore throat only that it will go away within a few weeks. WTH. Please dont waste your time here.

Well, perhaps things have changed somewhat in the 5-7 years since the other 1-star reviews, because Ive been here several times recently for everything from diseases to wounds with serious bleeding. Each time I was effectively triaged and saw a doctor in a reasonable amount of time. The doctors have been mostly immune to my particular sense of humor, but thats really the only complaint Ive had. Prices beat the emergency room hands down, too.

The slowest damn place in the world. They had one other person in the waiting room and told me it would be 30-45 minute wait. Okay thats fine but Ive been sitting in my room waiting for an hour without any help, all while Im listening to the nurses and doctors just chat outside. Rude and no care for the patients.

Went in 20 minutes before closing with my son. We think he dislocated his shoulder. But the guy at the counter said that their doctors do not have the proper training to look at him.
