This was my first experience with this company...and i would have to disagree 100% with the last review. everyone i met in the whole office was friendly and watching the patients they all seemed to be very comfortable and happy (even while working hard on their exercises). i agree that there was laughter...but to me, this is a very good sign that the therapists, aids, front desk people and owner actually enjoy their job and their place of work, something rare these days. an environment where everyone is able to be relaxed and laugh is a good thing, and the sign of a good manager. the layout and decor of the office was so nice, i was impressed. everything was in place, clean and modern looking. watching the treatments they do, massage, hot packs...E stem...made me want to get injured so my muscles could get a nice treat they deserve. it reminded me of a spa...very impressive. i highly recommend it! go see for yourself, and see whos review you agree with.

I have been working with physical therapists for almost 4 years and this team is the best Ive ever had. They understood the complexities of my issue at the first appointment and that built the base of our relationship. My appointments happen on time. The front desk remembers me. The care I get is tailored to me and not just someone telling me to do exercises and watching me do them. They help with the hands on pain relief with tissue work, traction, joint mobilization---this last piece is huge! I cannot afford a whole team of other providers to do just this part. So I do my homework and exercises and they help with the pain relief I cant do for myself. I always leave feeling better if not physically, mentally-and thats half the battle. They are in my corner. Ive had experience with at least 4 other PTs in the Tacoma area and without question, Anchor PT is the best! I always felt heard when I would ask a question and was always encouraged on my progress even when I didnt see it myself. From the moment of stepping in the front door, I was greeted with a smile and that happened each time I came in. Ive had 3 different surgery-recoveries on different body parts and they were knowledgeable in every one of them. The atmosphere was always friendly and very caring, yet professional. From my vantage point, every patient was cared for and encouraged.I have recommended Anchor to several people and will continue to do so. And I wont hesitate to go back if needed!

I sought treatment from Ross Anderson at Anchor Physical Therapy for a running injury that had sidelined my training. The office was clean and absolutely professional and the treatment I received was excellent. I was able to quickly return to my training schedule, which I hadnt expected. In addition, Ross educated me about how to avoid future injuries. I would highly recomend Anchor Physical Therapy!

Service Truth

These guys were pretty darn good but I can tell you that they clearly try to drag out the treatments. I got six treatments and could have done the same thing in 1-2 visits. The location is clean and most of the staff is quite nice.

Treatments aggravated injury, Therapist John did not show up for scheduled appointment. Was severely overcharged. Horrible experience. Not recommended.
