I cannot believe the way i was treated at this dentistry.. I had gone to new leaf dental since i was 16, now 23, and i am appalled at the way the receptionist spoke to me and the disgusting tone she took on my integrity. This business DISCRIMINATES against people with DISABILITIES. Since i was 10 i have been dealing with hormonal seizure episodes. Not until 18 was when i was finally diagnosed with epilepsy, and also started getting grand mal seizures. Around this time i had to do a couple cancellations. I have always been responsible about scheduling appointments, due to my disability, and we had a reference of when they would be happening .. but 18 came around and my seizures took a turn for the worst, and were not on a hormonal schedule. I had to quit my jobs, couldnt drive, and I had to be babysat. Now that I’m 23 and have a child we have pretty much pinpointed how to control them. Yet when i called to schedule a cleaning appointment with new leaf dental they treated me very unfairly. Called me un-honorable and ignoble. the call went like this.. me; Hi i would like to schedule an apt for me and my mother.. re; ok let me pull up your profiles -she looked up my profile. re; Ummm yeah, as it shows in your chart we can only do same day appointments, because you have had some cancellations. me: I can’t do same day because my mother has to take me and we need to plan ahead and her only days off are Monday. re: We can schedule an appointment for tomorrow in the morning.(which would be a wednesday) me; We can’t do that but even if its a month out, we need time because, i cannot drive and Mondays are my moms only days off re; I am reluctant to do that because so far you have not been honorable..do you think you can honor your appointment -at this point I’m very hurt and frustrated. To think this lady that i didn’t know, who doesnt know anything about my story, telling me i was ignoble..so i try to explain me; I was very disabled, i was having Grand Mal seizures at various times so it was the responsible thing for me to call and reschedule. Now we have pinpointed them. It wasn’t if i could honor my word. It was if i was in the back of an ambulance or not.. re; let me ask to Dr.Sypes. -2 miniutes later re; I will have to transfer you, at this time we cannot schedule you an appointment me; That just fine because the way you just treated me i would never want to go to your business again… thats my story now let me give you piece of my mind.. You egotistical condescending RECEPTIONIST, how dare you jump to own conclusions and judge somebody telling them they are un-honornble and can’t schedule them… I should in no way feel like i have to explain my life situations to you.. I am familiar with the ADA and you better re read it because youre going to treat somebody the wrong way and they will sue you right out of a job..You just lost my business, my moms business, my dads business, my step moms business, my partners business, and my daughters business. every one of them work with thousands of people everyday, and they will be sharing this story of how you treat people with disabilities and life struggles very poorly. I should not be discriminated against. Dr Sipes has always been great guy and very nice and family friendly, and i think that might be why i am so hurt. Thinking i had life long family dentist, but in business, you are who you hire, and if they share the same outlooks and treat people the same way i would never go there again.. sincerely, the Collins family

As usual, I showed up early. I used the wait time to brush my teeth. Soon I was in the chair, never had to sit in waiting room. Britani & Dr. Sipes were in good cheer and tip-top professionalism. The X-rays were the easiest ever with the new (to me) surround type of machine with just 4 bite-wings added. Much more comfortable than the old style of into and out of the mouth over and over to get a full set. So that was a nice experience. My cleaning went smoothly and without discomfort. I lucked out and got a clear check up so no other work was scheduled. We did schedule my next two cleanings so I am all set with appointments for the next year. When paying my portion, it was great that they were up to date with what my insurance would pay for and at ease explaining it to me. Its great to avoid surprises about what my insurance might not pay due to the timing. New Leafs staff anticipates that and schedules accordingly, taking the worry away from me. Once again, I am impressed with this dental office and staff. I will keep going and will recommend others as well.

When it comes to dentistry, Dr. Sipes is hands down the best dentist, in every way, that I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. I say displeasure only because going to the dentist is never a pleasure, the leaving part is. With that being said, Dr. Sipes is the most caring, professional, down to earth, and quite frankly the nicest dentist you could ever possibly ask for. He takes the time to really make sure the job is done correctly, the first time. All the staff are friendly, helpful, and all-in-all just plain great to be around! My mouth is the Frankensteins monster of dentistry, thanks to bad genetics and past dentists (there have been a lot of them). However Dr. Sipes has taken my monster and turned it into a super model, all while providing me the best that dentistry has to offer! Even the best dentists that claimed to "cater to cowards" could not keep my pain at the minimum such that Dr. Sipes does. He also has great help! I cannot stress enough just how amazing this dentists office is for me, and will be for you to!

Over the years I had just assumed the impersonal service I had received at the several dentist offices I had frequented over the years was normal. Then a friend of the family referred us to Dr. Sipes. My wife went first and raved about how nice everyone was to her. I decided to give it a try as well and am I glad. It is totally different than any other health care facility I have ever been in before. Every interaction with every employee has been positive. The reason I keep coming back to you is that they genuinely care about each patient and it starts from the top down. My primary dentist is Dr. Sipes who is the nicest person you will ever meet. His genuine interest in his patients sets the tone for the whole office. I can also say that the few times I have been under Dr. Wus care I experienced the same thing. If you are looking for a new dentist or have been dissatisfied with your experiences with other dentist offices, look no further.

I am not one to write reviews but this office and staff are worth it. I hadnt had my teeth cleaned in a really long time (16+ yrs), I had been told by other offices that I would need the "Deep Cleaning" with anesthetic and it was to be done in quadrants (ridiculously expensive and scarry). Angie at New Leaf Dental Care used a sonic scaler and cleaned my teeth with no numbing or pain. I just had my teeth cleaned again today and, once again, Angie was gentle and thorough. The entire office staff is welcoming and kind. They offer beverages, warm neck pillows and blankets, very relaxing and pleasant. Dr. Sipes is kind, not only to me but his office staff as well. I would recommend this dental office to anyone that would listen. Kristin R.
