Just got back from this lab. I signed in at 9:55 am and did not leave until 10:35. There was exactly one person in front of me. The phlebotomist on duty obviously had trouble with the paper work and computer system. Many other employees asked her if she needed help, she told them she did not. A nurse who had seen me waiting when I initially got there later walked past and asked me if I had been waiting the whole time. I told her yes, about half and hour. She approached the woman and asked her what the delay was to which the woman replied, "We have been busy." A complete lie, except for the fact that about 5 other people had piled up in the waiting room while this woman struggled to do her job. I have a had blood drawn every month for over a decade, and never experienced this before.

We use this lab to draw blood and they do the analysis and have the results sent to our doctor. Two occasions (out of four or five) are very unpleasant. The first time we waited for two hours to draw the blood. Only one patient was ahead of us. The second time they messed up the date for producing results; for example, my doctor order needs the results today; the date is explicitly on the order; they somehow think it is tomorrow. It is unthinkable how ridiculous they are. A few people (not all, I do meet very good people twice) there are arrogant, you can feel they think they are above you. When sacred job becomes routine, they take it lightly. If possible, I would give them a negative rate. By the way, dont let the name of the lab fool you as it did to me.

We waited 11/2 hour when only 3 people were ahead of us. They need to hire more people because the lab lady kept saying that she is the only one working and trying to do the best she could.
