So this place is a damn joke. This was in a wheaton Franciscan health care hospital. This person we went to is an oral surgeon. Brian j blocher. My mom went here to have her teeth pulled on the bottom and it was the only place that took her insurance AND were told they would put her to sleep for additional $300. First of all we walked in to rap music being played ( relaxing, right ). And then she was called back to have them pulled and was only back there for 45 minutes. After leaving and getting in the car and my mom was finally able to say something, she said they didnt put her to sleep. They only gave her a bunch of novocaine and some gas. She was in pain almost out of the chair when he decided to keep shoving novocaine in her mouth. She was awake and in pain the entire time he pulled 12 teeth. Today was her follow up. She went back there this time with my grandma and she asked for her money back. He said not only will he not give her money back. But he said he doesnt put anyone to sleep because he has to able to bring them back. Not only that he then he accused my mom of being a drug user which she certainly isnt! He then continued to talk about that he doesnt make enough money to do what he does. He said that what he gave her in her IV was 5-10 times stronger than what he normally gives people. Well what did you actually put in the IV then that it didnt knock her out? She didnt even barely sleep the night before cause she was nervous. so she should of went out easy. And he said she must of built a tolerance up to it. Which actually the last time my mom got put to sleep for dental work was 10 years ago when she got her top teeth removed, so tell me how that is?. Hes rude, disrespectful and doesnt care about anyone he works on.

The first floor laboratory here is horribly inefficient. After seeing my doctor, he stated to come back in to the lab the following day for blood after fasting (not eating for 12 hours). I went in during morning hours on 12/7/15, and there were people waiting in the lab waiting area that said they had been there well over an hour. Some even said they had preregistered/ had appointments (I was a walk in). So after not eating all morning, they expect you to sit for an hour and half to wait for a blood draw. The female working the front counter said there were too many employees that had off for the day. If that is the case, it sounds like a supervisory staffing issue. I’ve never gone anywhere that made you wait so long for a simple blood draw!

I havent used this facility...but I live in the neighborhood. .my concern is the landscaping. .They spray weed killer and dont post proper signs....These toxic products kill the weeds, the birds, the little rabbits that hop there early morning and at night..then it soaks into our water sources and when it rains ( everyday recently) it washes across the sidewalk where you may be walking your dog My request is STOP....bend over and pull out weeds that offend you...remember dandelions have many useful purposes..Why dont we work as a team and stop poisoning our World.
