I brought my son to Dr. Arthur for multiple consultations for his Duanes syndrome. She recommended patching for his eye (which we did) although we had two other consultations with other specialists and they were confused as to why we were doing this. I havent heard of any children with Duanes needing to do patching. She also didnt respond very well when I told her that my vision pattern was very similar to my sons (20/40 in one eye) and wondered if some of the problem with his visual acuity might be genetic. Her response to my questioning was very dismissive and rude, and not something that one would expect from one healthcare professional adressing another healthcare professional. I really felt that her main game was about selling us an unecessary surgery which would only be a partial correction of the Duanes. Most people live healthy productive lives WITHOUT surgery, which carries a lot of risks, espeically for young children.

Dr. Ann Arthur is a wonderful Dr. However, her receptionist needs years of customer service training. I visited the office about 4 years ago, since then I have been trying to make an appointment to see Dr. Ann, and havent been successful. Reason, the receptionist is so disrespectful, very difficult to communicate with, a lot of sarcasm etc. Its very sad that because of one behavior and lack of interest to communicate with patients, has made me decided to go elsewhere. Very disappointed! Kindness goes a long way.

She is the Most wonderful pediatric optometrist ever. She is through and patient and very caring. She is the best doctor to go to for pediatric eye surgeries. When I was a child I had corrective surgery for "crossed eyes". It was quick and painless I was about 7 or 8 when I had it done. To this day I thank dr. Arthur , for saving my vision. Shes and incredible Doctor.

We have no idea how Dr. Arthur is, because our wait time was going to be over 2 hours to see us. The receptionist gave us the option of taking our son to an eye clinic if we didnt want to wait. So we left. The doctor might be great but the office is chaos.

Dr. Arthur is very knowledgeable, professional and kind. I trust her to the fullest. Her office is welcoming and clean. Her staff are very caring and patient as well. I am so grateful my pediatrician recommended her for my children.
