Today was a very poor experience at the Garden City Office for this dermatologist: I had a consultation last week to have a procedure done to combat the dark circles under my eyes and correct the pigmentation spots also. I have never done anything like this and I am pretty nervous to begin with-after all, its still nice to be treated like a human being with feelings and concerns right ?? Well I was taken back fairly quickly and aksed what I would be doing today by what was clearly an assistant to the doctor. I told her vaguely what I THOUGHT I was doing (not even sure what the filler name is for this ... I only met the doctor once and briefly) anyway she then asks me if I want to see the doctor BEFORE I numb! Now call me crazy, but she didnt even know what procedure I was doing, (hell I wasnt even sure), so this was cause for great concern for me because I can not stand feeling like Im being tossed through an assembly line at any doctors office -ESP one dealing with my face!! Anyway, I said of course I would like to see the doctor before she slabs numbing cream on me, not even knowing where or what this procedure is I am doing! Regardless- this ended up not mattering-as I proceded to wait over ONE full hour in that room and not ONE single person came in ONE time to let me know what was going on, or to check in on me. So I left . I missed an entire afternoon of business appointments for this doctor visit for absolutely nothing. It was a joke, a total waste of my time and my gas. The ladies at the front were nice and seemed genuinely apologetic, telling me they were short staffed and that the doc was doing a procedure. However, this didnt matter to me at this point, I should have been made aware of this after I had been waiting 10-15 mins...God only knows how long I might have waited in that room had I not just left after an hour and ten minutes! Any office that completey ignores the fact that a new patient is sitting and waiting (anxious about their very first procedure of this nature no less! ) for over an hour being completely ignored is great cause for concern, and usually means run for the hills in my opinion. I am a business owner myself and although I own a bar/restaurant in the city which is vastly different than this-it is similar in nature in that you should never take for granted that all people like are human beings with feelings, emotions and impressions to be made. I am new to Long Island and spent a ton of money at my last dermatologist in the city-i am shopping around for a new one and im only 36 years old-they could have ruined their potential to be my life long provider as far as they know! Word of Mouth is still not to be messed with, in terms of bad reviews regarding business ...even in this day of technology we live in!! I rescheduled my appointment for next Monday afternoon, and we shall see if this office redeems itself. Every place is allowed to have an off day, but if this happens again -we certainly know that that is just not the case for this place! I will certainly keep the Internet and Long Island and Manhattan posted !!! Happy Hump Day kids xoxo.

I see Dr. Rokhsar at his garden city location. His office is clean and neat and his front desk staff are a bunch of the nicest girls Ive ever met. I never wait more than 5-10 min to be taken to the back. Dr. Rokhsar is sweet, helpful, and extremely smart. You can immediately tell upon meeting him that he knows his stuff. Im always confident going to him cause I know hell give me the right treatment. Ive seen him for general dermatology and aesthetics. He had surpassed my expectations in both areas. Ive been to many dermatologists and it wasnt until meeting Dr. Rokhsar that I realized I dont need to see anyone else. He is the best at what he does and he is so incredibly knowledgable. Hes always been so nice to me and is the only doctor Ive ever met that I feel knows how to counsel; he knows how to be personable and make you feel comfortable. Overall, its always an amazing experience seeing this guy and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

My first visit with Dr Rokhsar was very pleasant i have been dealing with a acne condition for 2 years and have visited two other dermatologist well rated but no serious relief with my condition. I was informed i was infected with a bacterial named Klebsiella Pneumonia and have been taking antibiotics for two years with marginal if any positive results.Dr Rokhsar concluded i was not diagnosed correctly but that i am dealing with Rosacea in a acne like breakout,red itchy or burning pimples on face neck back and chest.I am just beginning Dr Rokhsar prescribed treatment and am hoping it can be successful. I was happy for such a pleasant and hopeful visit also very cordial staff.

I had upper and lower blepharoplasty and laser in the eye area with Dr R and Im really happy with the results. I recommend him to everyone. His bedside manner on the day of the surgery and his after care were both really excellent; I will always go to him whenever I need anything cosmetic or dermatologic. My husband is also having treatment on his foot, and after seeing 4 other dermatologists for his problem, this is the first time he is getting results. A+

The doctor comes in and leaves right away. All your dealings are with his staff and they are rude. His nurse is VERY rude and lazy, she hangs up the phone on you when she doesnt want to answer a question or if she doesnt know the answer. She claims the doctor will call you back BUT I never receive any call backs. Waste of time! I would rather go to a doctor where I can get service, not where I get frustrated and aggravated! I WOULD NOT GO BACK!‎

I had my first Coolsculpting treatment today. The technician was knowledgeable and explained everything I should expect from the treatment. Dr. Rokhsar followed up the technicians explanation by informing me of the actual process takes place within the body during Coolsculpting. Dr. Rokhsar and the technician made sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment and ensured all my questions were answered.

From the moment I entered his office his staff made me feel that I found the right doctor. I have had many procedures done in his office Fraxal laser scar removal, lasar hair removal, and some minor surgeries. My results from the fraxal laser scar removal are amazing! I can only say how confident I felt at every visit.

Dr Rokhsar and his staff are great, all the gals are nice and very courteous,I cant say enough about them.The good Dr. is the best in his field and has a knack for hiring the best. If youre looking for a Dr tops in his field you dont have to look any further.

Got Botox for my armpits a few months ago. Didnt hurt at all and was talking me through the whole thing. Reduced excessive underarm sweating to almost nothing. Will definitely be going back.
