11/2015 - UPDATE *****BEWARE***** I just recently received a bill for services from American Dental. I immediately called my insurance company and requested an explanation of benefits. In looking at the explanation I noticed two FRAUDULENT charges that were submitted to my insurance company. BE CAREFUL THIS OFFICE COMMITS FRAUD AND THEN CHARGES YOU FOR EXTRA MONEY!!!!! Call your insurance company and make sure they are not over charging you and fight for your rights! I am taking the appropriate steps to fight them, and I am filing all the appropriate paperwork with my insurance company and getting a second opinion. You can prove American Dental is commiting fraud!!! ****************************************************************************************************************** List of incompetence: When I made my appointment I was very clear to indicate my reason for going was due to severe pain and I needed a minor fix to my filling. 1.) When I arrived they had me down for a general office visit and dental cleaning. 2.) The lady trying to take x-rays was rough. I explained I had been in pain for many days to take it easy. She said, "Deal with It!" When I wouldnt deal with it, she called another person and she had her give me a panoramic xray instead. 3.) Then when I was finally seated for an exam, the Dentist, indicated that she was not capable of giving me a diagnosis for the pain I was experiencing. She indicated I needed to go see and oral surgeon. If she cannot diagnose me, then why go see an oral surgeon? 4.) When i asked her to give me an explanation as to why seeing a surgeon and what led her to believe that was the best course of action. She indicated she couldnt tell my why. 5.) I asked if she could at least take care of my filing. She said it was not what she was told she had to do. She could only go by whats on the schedule. She only works there she doesnt own the establishment. This is AMERICAN DENTAL! SAVE YOURSELF NEVER GO HERE, I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP! THE WORST KINDS OF PEOPLE EVER. DISGUSTING!

Rude doesnt even cover what both staff and "doctors" were. You get cheap dental because they bring on terrible dentists and illiterate staff. If we could give negative stars on here, it would be closer to a real rating. They dont even deserve one star. LYDIA in particular was awful. Not only was she rude, she purposely put me on hold three times only to hang up on me and then laugh when I called back. Because, talking to the wife of a man crying in pain should make all people laugh. Three times I repeated I was calling because my HUSBAND, who just had impacted wisdom teeth pulled, with no gas or being put to sleep, was in a lot of pain and bleeding, three times she told me my BOYFRIENDs bleeding was fine because he just had teeth pulled. REALLY? OH! And the root canal that was supposed to be done with this so all the pain would be taken care of? Never happened. Can they really be that lazy? Or are they just looking to make us pay for more visits, regardless of the pain their patients were in? Speaking of paying more.. they took all our insurance information and quoted him the final price.... and then doubled it after they already pulled the teeth out. Incredible. Youre not saving money going to cheap idiots. He actually had to have the pieces of the tooth they missed pulled out by a different dentist. A real dentist. Save yourself money and more importantly PAIN and see REAL dentists.

I literally waited 3 hours at the office to get a checkup and cleaning. I told Dr. Lauredean that my crowns have been implanted for 4 years and they are not working properly. He said that it was time to replace those crowns. He said I need to tell the front desk about my crown replacement. I went to the front desk and told them that Dr. Lauredean said I need to have crown replacement. The front desk said their office will order the crowns for me and I didnt need to do anything but to wait for their call to schedule my next appointment. I waited for 2 months and didnt hear from them. I finally called them to ask for an update. The front desk told me that Dr. Lauredean didnt input anything about my crown replacement in my record. Obviously they didnt order crowns for me at all. She said I have to go there again to have another checkup before Dr. Lauredean can decide if I really need crown replacement! I was so frustrated about it. I dont want to go there and wait another 3 hours to have another checkup! I expressed my frustration, but the front desk was so rude. She implied that I made it up about my crown replacement. It was the worst experience ever!I would NEVER NEVER come back to that place ever again!

The experience I had was horrible! I went there on September 8th 2016 for my two front teeth because I was in pain, I had an appointment at 10:30am and i got there in time or 5 minutes and I was waiting for 10 to 15 minutes then I asked them how long until I go inside and they said about 10 to 15 minutes and then I was still waiting for an hour and a half then they finally called me in to do my x-rays.. I had to go back a second time because they didnt do a temporary repair.. When they sent my insurance company the pre approval for the dental work they didnt put the proper information then when I called for them to call the insurance company the recipient told me that she was going to call to give them the information and then I spoke to the insurance company to find out whats going on with the approval they told me nobody from the dentist office called and then when I called American Dental today I spoke to someone they told me to hold on and they never came back to the phone and I was on hold for almost 15 minutes and then when I called back nobody answered the phone.. Overall I would never recommend them as a dentist to go to ever!

Worst experience EVER. This staff is very rude and they obviously dont care for their patients. The orthodontist is never there and has the worst hours and when he is there he literally sits three people in one room and goes to each person for five minutes then sends in the next three. Not caring or accommodating. You wont get another appointment for at least a month which means you will have your braces for what feels like forever. They just want your money and thats the only time that their nice to you. When something is their fault they just tell you that its YOUR responsibility. I keep getting bills sent to my house and when I ask them why I owe them money they tell me to ignore it. There shady and dont seem to care for anyone but themselves. The only good thing about them is that they have a new office. Seriously think over going to this place, find a better orthodontist.

Why go to a Dental office that is supposed to be friendly and overcharges their patients. They charge YOU the patient what they CANNOT charge their insurance in some cases. It was a tedious ball of yarn to unravel and then they blame the PATIENT for the mistake. The front office is rude and deliberately cold when any mistake is found on their part. No one owns up and NO one apologizes. On the other hand they can be nice when they want to be (which is while taking your money) and courteous to others who seem close to the family of the Doctors. The Dentist was efficient and polite. My suggestion is to current and future patients check your Bill with the Insurance company before committing to any work. They were wrong and almost took my money!!
