I never usually report positive experiences but I had to this time. Dr. Bryant and all his staff are wonderful. Theyre cheerful and nice. They answered all my questions, took time with me, rather than "process" me. My visit was particularly exceptional because I could see that they were CLEARLY looking out for me and keeping my best interests in their mind. They asked me to list all the insurance plans (medical, vision, etc.) that I have so that I could get the best possible rates for their services. In the end, they did end up billing a part of my services to my medical insurance and the rest to my vision insurance. They definitely saved me a good amount of money. The only place where I did find that I might be spending more than I needed to was their frames, if I did choose to buy from them. They probably house a bit more of the upscale frame brands which can be a bit pricey. Also, although I refused, the Doctor gave me a pair of roll-on sunglass lenses in the end because it was a bright sunny day. I didnt think much of it until I walked out and realized i cant see anything because my pupils were dilated and everything was too bright. And voila! I had a pair of roll on sunglasses to get through, along with the bottle of water they gave me. Little things, sure. But they went a long way to prove that they were clearly looking out for their patients. It finally became clear to me that this was, hands down, the best ophthalmologists visit I have ever had.

I cant say enough good things about my experience here! I moved to Ithaca from Rochester and wasnt familiar with any eye care doctors here. I found Dr. Bryants website and was able to quickly make an appointment via the internet without having to so much as pick up a phone, which is great in my line of work. When I arrived, I was greeted with smiles from every person I spoke with, and did not have to wait more than five minutes for my appointment. I really have never been to any doctors office that has had more happy, genuinely awesome customer service professionals. Plus theyre open late one night a week for people who work the standard 8-5 and find it hard to leave work during the day: Until 9 on Wednesdays, which is completely unheard of and absolutely fantastic.

Dr Bryant takes the time to address all my questions in detail. I was a patient in his Binghamton practice and like the care he provides so much that a drive to Ithaca is a minor inconvenience. In addition, the staff exhibit the same care, helpfulness and friendliness as the Doctor does. My insurance company recently changed the tier level of my medication and Dr. Bryant and his staff have been working tiredlessly to appeal that change for me - just recently spending almost 2 hours on the phone with the insurance company working that issue. I dont know many businesses that work that hard for their customers. Thank you Dr. Bryant and staff for the excellent care and help you give me and my wife.

I recently visited Dr. Ted Bryant at Clarity Eye Care for the first time and had an absolutely wonderful experience. It had been 3 years since my previous eye exam, particularly because I hadn’t found a practitioner with whom I felt comfortable. I am happy to say my search has come to an end! He and his entire team are warm and caring, professional and punctual. I felt that my time and concerns were valued, and that I was very well taken care of the second I stepped in the door. I will definitely maintain a relationship with Dr. Ted in the future and easily recommend his office to friends and loved ones.

I went to Dr. Bryant based on two things (1) they take VSP insurance and (2) their office is open late one night per week so I could go there without missing work. Like many of the reviewers on here, I found the staff to be extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions throughout my exam and treated me with respect. I had a very positive experience with everyone there and I am very glad that I chose them. So long as my insurance remains compatible with their office, I will definitely continue to use this office.

Highly professional and knowledgeable doctor and staff. Very pleasant atmosphere. The folks are really listening and paying attention to your needs. I went to Americas Best first, where the doctor wanted to significantly increase my prescription, despite me seeing well with the current one. He also disregarded my worries about potential headaches and discomfort. Dr. Bryant on the other hand, took time to listen to my concerns. Then he adjusted his examinations accordingly and found the best lens and prescription strength for me.

It may seems suspicious that this place has all 5-star reviews, but theres a reason for it: Clarity provides top notch service. Ive only had one previous eye exam at a different practice; it sucked, and they told me that I didnt need glasses when I clearly do. Clarity is friendly, fast, and efficient. They took the time to answer all of my new-to-glasses questions and explained when I wanted explanations. I will continue to patronize Clarity for as long as I live in Ithaca.

When you get eye glasses from this office you will know that the prescription is right for your eyes and you have received the highest quality glasses with the correct options. I can see again! Plus, Dr Bryant has a machine that can take a picture of the back of your eye so you dont have to get your pupils dilated and spend hours afterwards with blurry vision. The staff was super helpful in assisting me with selecting frames. The entire staff is always professional, courteous and friendly. Dr Bryant took the time to find out what my vision needs were and addressed them and didnt make me feel like just another client passing through.

Every time I visit Clarity Eye Care I am greeted by wonderful and knowledgeable staff. I never have a problem with waiting too long for my appointment to begin either. Their service is outstanding. My son had very swollen eye, and we went to see him. After carefully checking his eye, he told me that is a kind of allergy and gave me very detailed indication about the treatment! And 1 day and night after, his eye recovered and everything goes well!!! Thanks to Dr Bryant! They are super efficient, easy to make appointment. The waiting time is very reasonable! Especially, Dr Bryant is professional and knowledgeable!
