Ive decided to write this review as a means to pass time, as Ive been waiting to be seen by my primary care doctor for an hour. This is my third or fourth visit to Gutherie, and each experience has been mixed. I find that the physicians and technicians are pleasant and professional, but that the receptionists and assistants are terribly unprofessional, disorganized and poorly orchestrated. On my first visit, I witnessed two separate heated exchanges between staff members (one at the front desk, and one in waiting room B). In the later confrontation, I actually heard one of the receptionists refer to my doctor as a "fu***** bi***". Now, as its approaching 12:20 and I still have yet to be seen for my 11:20 appointment, my general feelings about this facility make me feel unsafe and forgotten about.

They scheduled me for an MRI on the left shoulder. I was not told the costs, and after the MRI was done I wasnt scheduled for a follow up. I was never given any results or consultation post MRI. I was told they were going to schedule me for a follow up/consultation with the MRI results, but I had to call them after a week and I was then told I had to wait a month. The MRI cost $2,653. Ive had MRIs before and they cost $500-$600. Never have I had an MRI cost $2,653. I am displeased to say the least.

They have some good providers at Guthrie who are competent and caring, and for that Id grant 2 stars. Others are abrasive, arrogant, and uncaring. You roll the dice. If the provider you pick is scheduling two months out, its a sign that theyre good. Their front office and administrative staff is borderline incompetent and this makes Guthrie a maddening nightmare to deal with. Paperwork mistakes, scheduling mistakes, long wait times, the whole gamut.

It took a full week for me to get a prescription written by them, and then it was for a fraction of the amount of medicine that was needed and split up over 3 refills unnecessarily. Also, a simple request that a visit be billed as a preventative visit because of insurance was denied. If you do decide to go there, definitely dont go to the Russian doctor. Shes not very kind or accommodating.

I saw a doctor a few times for a chronic illness. He repeated stated that my medical issues would resolve if i "just lost weight". He also stated that he would not provide prescriptions because it was inconvenient for his staff. I would encourage you to stay as far away from this practice as possible! It is definitely not worth your time.

Guthrie is our preferred health care provider. Ive had to see various doctors and therapists quite a bit over the last 10 years, and have always been treated as though Im their only patient. Guthries online messaging and patient info system is fantastic - the doctors and nurses get back to me quickly for any questions, RX refills, etc.

I have been coming here for 6 years. The doctors are all exceptional, caring and kind. I had to have a procedure done in the radiology department and everyone was amazing. The radiologist that did my procedure was reassuring and gave me results before I left. There was no waiting. I highly recommend this office

do not bring your children here, besides misdiagnosing there patience they are connected to racist people who will do the extreme in favor of pleasing there racist connections some of the workers are nice but its hard to tell who works for racist people yes the KKK controls this place.

Out of all the physicians that I have dealt with, this one is by far the best! They are accurate, caring, and quick. I would recommend anyone try out this place if you are looking for a new provider. Dr. Kuntz is great, and so far all of their staff is the same.

Ive been going to Guthrie Ithaca for more than 15 years. Both of my GPs during that time were very efficient and caring. Nursing staff is great as we most of the specialists. I wouldnt hesitate recommending Dr. Mo or Dr. Skezas or any of the PAs/NPs.

Used this location for labs in lieu of paying facility charges at Cayuga Medical Center. Service was a little slow but otherwise excellent. Staff had pleasant attitudes. Lab results were received by doctors as promised, in a timely fashion.

Ive had a couple of problems with Guthrie, but they usually correct them after a bit of insistence. Bit of a hassle dealing with them, which is why I took away 2 stars. If you have trouble, deal directly with Ken the office manager; hes good.

My experience is that they scheduled me on the wrong date, did not apologize, said that they had to call me to reschedule, (they cant do it while Im there?), and of course have not called me back.

Ive been a Guthrie patient for many years and have always been treated well. My PCP is a Guthrie doctor. I get appointments the same day--sometimes with an NP, but theyre terrific also.

My doctor was outright arrogant and behaved like she did not care about understanding what was wrong with me. Google could have given better answers to my concerns. Very disappointing!!

Friendly, very knowledgable folks. Staff put me at ease immediately! Dr. Kim didnt keep me waiting and discussed the procedure with me, being sure I understood fully.

Dont waist your time and money. Its awful service. I had bad experience with Dr.G. she is tactless.

I didnt like it because they gave me my vaccines slowly and that made them hurt more.
