Right now Monroe Animal Hospital and Pet Wellness Center is offering free exams. Please remember that You Get What You Pay For!! You cannot put a price on knowledge, expertise, compassion and caring. I took my hedgehog to this practice and she was grossly misdiagnosed. She was diagnosed with bone fractures without any x-rays to back it up, and without any splinting or casting to help it heal. A more knowledgable vet correctly diagnosed and started treating Wobbly Hedgie Disease (a neurological problem, not broken bones). When the practice was made aware of the misdiagnosis they did NOTHING! Not even a call to appologize or check how the animal was doing. When I requested a refund it was completely ignored. Again, the company did NOTHING. This shows a great lack of compassion for an animal they treated. It shows they dont mind making me pay for their lack of knowledge on an aminal they claimed they could treat. A free exam may sound great - it wouldve saved me $68. But i still was given 50$ of unneccassary medicine, and had to bring my hedgie to a knowledgable vet which wasnt free. If the company is so ready to give YOU a FREE exam, why couldnt they REFUND me on a gross misdiagnosis? Please consider this when looking around for a new vet.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH A VET!!!!! I recently took my two year old mini lop bunny that I rescued from a horrific neglect case to this vet for a severe ear infection. My first visit was almost $400.00. I was given medication to give him at home. Ten days later I called the vet because he was no better and seemed in pain. It took the doctor FOREVER to get back to me. The next day I picked up another round of antibiotics. They messed up on the dosage and when I brought it back, I was told the medication was absorbed by the rubber stopper!!! WHAT?????? Anyway another $40.00. I called two days ago because my bunny is still no better and in pain. Guess what? NO FLIPPIN RETURN PHONE CALL FROM THE DOCTOR!!!! This office only cares about MONEY MONEY and not that your poor pet is suffering. So very sad that we have people like this pretending to care for animals.

Seems to me this place only wants my money anymore....Used to be great, now not so much. They gave my very small dog 2 vaccines at once, which of course made her little body incredibly uncomfortable. I didnt know if she was going to recover...I took her back 2 days later, was condescended to and treated like Im stupid. 2 days later I finally took her to another vet who was able to finally stop her suffering...She was having an allergic reaction to something in the shots and no one in the house slept for 5 days....Very miserable experience, and theyre incredibly expensive to have such a cavalier attitude towards a good client. Needless to say Im not going back, and Ive been with them for several years.

When I ask my dog "do you want to go to the vet, do you want to see Dr. Greenberg?" she gets all happy and her butt starts wiggling (she doesnt have a tail). My dog LOVES going to the vet. Upon entering the staff is so welcoming, my dog gets to say hi to the staff and lots of pets and kisses (and sometimes biscuits too). Very little wait time. She feels comfortable with the vet techs who are always gentle and talk with her to keep her happy. My dog adores Dr. Greenberg. Dr. Greenberg is very knowledgeable and treats my dog as it were one of her own. Shes got a great bedside manner, not just with dogs, but with their owners too. I would never go anywhere else for the care of my furry kid.

We here at Reenies Rabbit Rescue simply couldnt do what we do without the help of Monroe Animal Hospital. They always get back to us when we have an emergency rabbit call--they have never not been there for us. At least 100 of our bunnies have been seen by the doctors here. Just last week we took several of our bunnies in to see Dr. Katie Barker for a routine wellness check. She meticulously inspected each rabbit and I could tell from the way she handled them that she really cares for them as a species. She was thorough, empathic, and knowledgeable about the treatment of rabbits. I had confidence that our bunnies were in good hands.

This place is terrific! I work M-F until 4:30, so it is wonderful to find a place that is open later on weeknights and, also, on Saturday! I bring my ferrets here. The front desk staff is very friendly and kind, the vet techs are very gentle and sweet with the animals. The Vet is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to all animals (not just dogs and cats - I have ferrets which are considered "exotic" pets). They are patient with both the animals and the owners and the pricing is entirely reasonable and affordable! I will never take my fur babies to any other clinic!

My puppy was very ill. Blood sugar was undetectable. After only having 3 days. The travel and change may have been too much. He was completely unresponsive and we thought the worst. Dr. Gramazio was incredible. Loki would have to stay the weekend. I left him Saturday morning. That night I get a call that he was doing much better. Loki came through. 3 weeks now and Loki is everything we hoped he be. Our puppy was saved. We were educated and are now better for the experience. My family are very grateful. My 10 year old son now wants to be a Veterinarian.

Had a great first experience here. Brought in my cat who had a small lump. My cat normally goes berserk at the vets (screaming, hissing, scratching, biting, flipping out in general). And, he did here. But the way the vet (and her assistant) handled him was great. Caring, compassionate and thorough. Dr. Greenberg answered all my questions and I was very impressed. The office is clean and the front desk staff was terrific. Ill be back.

Most pet owners love their pets as if they were their children and want the best care possible. I have lived in numerous state and dealt with numerous Vets and animal hospitals. I can tell you Monroe Animal Hospital truly cares for their patients as if they are their own pets. The staff goes beyond their "Job". They treat every pet with special loving care, It does not matter if it is a chameleon, a hedgehog or the family cat,

Dr Kasman solved Abbys, (my dog) problem and his staff called to follow up and check how she was doing after a couple of days. We were not rushed out and the Dr answered all our questions. For many years Ive traveled a 70 mile round trip to bring my pets to the Monroe Animal Hospital. Dr Kasman is caring, gentle and thorough. His staff is welcoming and obviously care about animals.

DR. Kasman has helped me so much with managing my very senior GSD with her arthritis and degeneration of go her back end. Lauren in the wellness center is a wonderful, caring person who takes exceptional care of my dog during laser treatments. .its kept our dog going and added much quality to her long life. My dog loves going which makes all decisions easier.
