This place saved our trip! In August of 2010 my daughter and I arrived in NY from Vancouver BC late in the evening. When we woke in the morning my daughter realised that she had forgotten to pack her contacts. She wore her out-of-date glasses for the long plane ride so that she could sleep. To make matters worse, when I went to put in my contact it ripped! I am pretty well blind without my contacts (already had one cornea transplant). We spent the first day in NY looking for an optometrist who could possibly help us. This business was close to our hotel so we walked in and told them about our troubles. They were extremely helpful. We had our hometown optometrist fax our prescriptions to them and they set us up with contacts... for free!!! NY has a reputation for being snobby and not caring about tourists but we found this to be absolutely false! From the start of our trip with Battery Park Vision Associates, to the remainder, New Yorkers treated us very kindly. Thank you Dr. Naparstek and staff for saving our trip!

I have been gone to Battery Park Vision Associates since I was a kid, Dr. Naparstek is very nice and polite and always knows whats best for me. Selection of frames are very good and they have their own line of affordable frames as well. Always love visiting the eye doctor!

i love this place. been going to Dr. Naparstek since the 80s. keeps me on my toes with regard to my eye care. margie (little but mighty) runs the whole kit and kaboodle up front. shes awesome when it comes to getting insurance, discount, etc. deals.

Friendly, convenient, efficient; they take my insurance and are good about checking what the insurance will cover before doing the exam and before I look at the frames, etc. That way, I am aware of what things will cost in advance.

Good people who actually care. Before I was a patient, my glasses broke before a trip and David came through for me without charging me, told me to deal with it when I came home. 5+ years later, Im still going there.

Not great at all, had several insurance filing issues with them. I was charged for items I never ordered, staff is not very attentive and are rude. Their hours are ridiculous. I will not be going back to them.
