The doctor and her assistant was very nice but I was mis-diagnosed with folliculitis when I really had a severe skin allergy. It was only when I got a second opinion from another doctor and was prescribed stronger antibiotics and steroids that I got better. I had to endure a week of severe itching and discomfort from the misdiagnosis. I also had to complain initially about a slow response to getting my prescription filled. The doctor however did take time to respond over the weekend which I appreciated. All is all if you have a common skin problem you shouldnt have any problem but I wouldnt recommend SmarterSkin for anything out of the ordinary based on my experience.

I had such a wonderful experience at SmartrSkin Dermatology today. The medical assistant was so friendly and amazing. She was so helpful with my prescription and very thorough with my initial evaluations. Dr. Komal Pandya is exceptional. I came in for a cortisone injection for my cystic acne but she spend a good amount of time talking to me about my skin. She even noticed how my skin is dry and red. She thinks that I might have rosacea and have given me medication to reduce the inflammation of my skin. I will highly recommend her to my friends and family and anyone reading this comment.

Beautiful office and Dr. Shah was super-friendly and pleasant. She did not rush at all, took time to give me detailed answers to the multitude of questions I asked, and was perfectly comfortable discussing pricing (which was very reasonable) for some of the non-medical procedures she offered. At no time did I feel pressured to buy any elective treatment. I would definitely return to Dr. Shah for future dermatological needs.

Dr. Shah is an amazing dermatologist! She is very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. The office staff is also very friendly. Dr. Shah took plenty of time with me and the visit was not rushed. She discussed treatment options and we came up with the best option for me. DO NOT GO HERE. They refused to speak with my insurance provider on the phone to give prior authorization needed for them to cover it because "their arent enough people working here to do that". Ive been going with out my meds for days waiting on them. Nicole, the assistant, refused to work with me to resolve the issue. Its a terrible feeling having your medications withheld.

SmarterSkin is conveniently located and has a crisp and clean office. I appreciate Dr. Shahs patience and that she uses the latest technology in her office. I had a much more pleasant and successful laser hair removal session with Dr. Shah compared to other clinics or spa spervice offerings.
