I must say this establishment gives me hope. I recently rescued a female cat and her one 6 month old kitten after finding out in the middle of our freezing cold winter they were put in a park by men who no longer wanted to care for them. I KNOW! Karma will happen .Few weeks later mother cat gaines weight rapidly yup pregnant. Now I have 4 little kittens added to this rescue mission. One adopted right away. As time passes and no one interested in adopting this cuties I now have the respondabilty of their medical care. With my own 2 cats and rabbit and Maltese I know this will be very expensive. But thanks to this amazing faucility I am able to give them the care they need at a cost I can afford. I wouldnt know what to do without their generosity and kindness to animals. I wish their were more places out there that understood the need to help stop over population and the cost of medical care for these otherwise homeless sad animals. I Will forever be singing the praises of Island Rescue cause now these kirries all have a healthy start and a bigger chance of being adopted and loved. Sincere Thanks!!!!!!

Horrible I brought my kitten there and they fixed her I brought her home a week later had to bring her back because she had an infection and they couldnt even tell me how she got it as a vet you should be knowledgeable so when a pet is sick you know what caused it. They gave me an antibiotic for her and it helped she was better a few weeks go by and I take her to get her booster/vaccine shot on 9/3/2016 she was tired from the shot. I come home Monday night and shes not eating drinking shes walking like she drunk and I have no alcohol in my room and nothing she could eat or get to that could be poisonous. I bring her to bed with me and at 1:45 shes having a seizer next to me and died at 5 1/2 months old. The worst part is that they have no idea what caused it how do you have no idea your a freaked vet. I will never come back here again!!!
