This is the absolute worst doctors office ever! l could not get my children out of there fast enough. Called around 2:30 inquiring about an injury most likely broken bone and was told they had a 4:00 appointment with Dr. Lisa Smith. Got there early and sat in the waiting room about 10/15 min then was brought back to a room where we sat for over an HOUR! Then this Dr. Smith came in and said oh I dont know I guess you need an X-ray. Oh but all the places except two are closed now. Umm maybe because we wasted almost 2 hours sitting there??? This doctor was incompetent and I dont understand why they had me go there first knowing my child would most likely need an X-ray. I asked the dr where I would be going and she said you can let my staff explain it to you. Ok??? I go to the checkout and Joanne tosses a form at me and is done with me. She was rude and miserable. I ask her where is it I am supposed to go since the dr said she would explain it. She said go over by Wilson health center and that was it. We drive all the way over there and there is no Borg & Ide over there that the form she provided says. I have to call her again and she then tells me a different place to go to. I pull over and call this place and they tell me sorry X-rays close at 6:00. By now I am livid. Im driving around with a child in pain, Ive wasted our time, money on a copay and am no further along than I was 2.5 hours earlier. I call this Joanne back furious and tell her to check her facts before sending people to a place thats closed. She says I didnt go to the correct place. Well I looked up every place with that name and called them all and that one is the only one not closed but is not doing X-rays. At this point I give up and go where I should have gone hours and hours ago to immediate care. We were in, X-rays done and copied to cd and my childs broken hand wrapped up by an amazing doctor that you could tell truly cared. He was warm and friendly. Exactly what you would expect from a pediatrician. I left a message for the office manager at Ridgewood Med Peds and she didnt bother calling me back. Needless to say we will not be returning to that office ever again. The staff is 80% rude and unfriendly. I refuse to go pay for a service to be treated poorly. The lady at check in is also often times nasty. She was extremely rude to me yesterday after I gave her papers to transfer my other child out of there. Even if I was desperate I would not take my children there. Do yourself a favor and save you time, money and stress of going there! Awful office staff and incompetent doctor!

Every time I visit, the providers are on top of their game, nurses and doctors alike. I occasionally have a bit of a wait, but thats because the doctors are still with their previous patient explaining things. I have seen my primary and 2 other doctors on emegency basis. Highly reccomend.
