If I could give no stars, I would. Let me start by saying that I actually love the dentist and do not dread it at all until I came here.. I went for panoramic x-rays of my wisdom teeth since I needed a referral to be seen by an oral surgeon on my dental plan. Easy enough you would think.. It took them 4 times of taking the x-ray just to announce that the machine didnt work, when they knew this was the only thing I was there for. I then had to have regular x-rays taken in the dental chair and the apparatus that the assistant was shoving into the back of my mouth was physically made me gag because it is not meant to be used for wisdom teeth x-rays. I was being a sport since this was all I was there for however, when I kindly asked her if there was a smaller size to use she said "No, this is how its done. Youre going to have to help me help you" --so much for bedside manner! Then the actual "Dr" came in and asked if I was the patient whose tooth she just drilled. No you did not just drill my tooth. Then she asked if I was Tracy.. no Im not Tracy.. She then began to examine my mouth and repeatedly stated that my wisdom teeth were not emerging. I then had to instruct her on where to find my teeth since they are clearly emerging and causing a lot of pain. On the way out I asked for my referral, which the Dr. and office assistant (who was very busy on her business phone talking to a friend) looked at me like I had 10 heads and asked one another, how is a referral done? The Dr. then proceeded to write me a hand written note, which come to find out is NOT what I needed at all, since there is an official referral form that must be completed. They asked if I would prefer to have their oral surgeon remove my teeth, to which, I wanted to reply that I would rather have someone take my head off then allow then anywhere near my teeth again. The printer paper print out of my xray was also insufficient and when I spoke with Cigna they were shocked that they didnt know how to fill out a proper and standard referral since they have been part of the plan for many years. If the service or people at this place were decent, I would have been able to look past the cheesy Bahamas theme, but instead, I left happier than ever to get off that island.

I had been going to this dentist for 6 months and there had been a couple of red flags that I ignored simply because I wanted to be understanding. My last visit there was yesterday to have my wisdom teeth removed, the assistant as well as the doctor were completely unprofessional and unprepared and had me waiting in the room for a while without anyone having the decency to informing me of what was going on, when the assistant finally came in she was very rude and indifferent to my questions and concerns. They took my x-rays again (I had been there previously for this already so everything was ready to go for my appointment as is supposed to), to come to find out that there was an extra wisdom teeth under my gum which needed to be taken care of as well which they were completely unaware of. The dentist itself was very rude and unaware of what was going on the whole time I was there, he proceeded to blame everyone else for the mistake and never gave me an apology for what had happened. The experience was horrible, I got up and left without letting them do anything. I will NEVER return to this office, the atmosphere and the way they all make you feel is beyond me, the walls and ceiling are falling apart, everyone is extremely rude and unprofessional. I know if I would of stayed I might of ended up in the hospital which is unacceptable for a dentist office to make you feel when you should be able to trust them. Stay away from this place, is honestly such a disgrace...

My first visit there I was a little weary, the décor is.. strange, but Ive gotten used to it. The women who run the office are really nice and do their jobs very well. I saw Dr. Steven Gutterson, he did a GREAT JOB!! I had 3 fillings to get repaired, one of which was on my front tooth, he did marvelous work, my smile looks perfect! The hygienists and assistants are all really friendly and caring. The digital x-rays are a breeze... they always let me know how much my next visit will cost, thats really helpful so I can budget it in, no surprises.

I dont normally write reviews online, especially those for dentists, but DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE. The office is absolutely disgusting, it smells damp and the carpet is sticky. The dentist I saw wouldnt even shake my hand upon introduction, he hardly looked over my mouth and told me the pain I was experiencing would "go away" - it didnt, I went to a more qualified dentist and I needed a root canal. If you care about your dental health, dont enroll as a patient here.
