Updated: Since my first visit (about a year ago) Ive gotten three crowns, with a fourth recommended. Two crowns still have sensitivity and I cannot bite down hard on them (no more popcorn for me). I also suspect one of these two is loose, but I am scared to touch it too much because of my experience with my third crown. My third crown didnt feel right from the get-go. I was constantly in pain and very sensitive. I also had a lot of bacterial growth. About two months after getting the crown, it fell out and the smell was HORRIBLE. Turns out I needed a root canal, which I have since had and am feeling much better, and the smell is gone. I have, however, caught this smell lingering from time to time in between the other two crowns, so who knows what will become of them. Overall I am completely unsatisfied with the crowns; they have been a source of constant anxiety and I dont trust how well theyre secured on and that theyre even protecting the tooth from future work. Im moving soon and am excited to get a new dentist. Overall, I think Dr. Berry is great for less intrusive treatment, but I would recommend a good discussion over your care plan for the necessity of any procedures prior to going through with them. Outdated: This place is awesome! Dr. Berry is wonderful to work with and very professional. The office is incredibly clean. I only wish they took Medicaid, as my primary insurance has pretty crummy dental coverage :(

I decided to go to berry dental after all I know the owner my first visit was x-rays measurements of my gums . as soon as I sat down they say you need a root canal I knew nothing of what that was they explained nothing no cost or anything good thing I had money on me..... after 2 more visits getting root canal they said I need a crown at a cost of almost $500.00 I was like ok what ever.. so I decided to put it on hold for a few weeks they sent my wife not me a bill for all $1100.00 dollars I was like wtf... so to save my money I went and had the crown done.. now they said I needed seep cleaning and to get that I needed to see some lady for counseling to tell me how to clean my teeth I said no and she said shed have that lady call me before they set up a appointment after 2 weeks I called and made my own appointment for regular cleaning alls good I thought . I get there for my appointment and this lady comes to get me to talk to me about deep cleaning wanted me to see videos and everything I told her I only wanted a regular cleaning .THEY REFUSED A REGULAR CLEANING ....I was told by others not to go there in the first place because there only gonna do work where they can make money of you ....... I will listen to people in the furture...................

I have worked with Dr Berry at Berry Good Dental Care as her personal dental assistant from June 2001 through May 2003 she had just opened her practice about two years prier to my working with her. The Dr Zina Berry that I knew exhibited deep passion and exceptional pride in her work. Not only did I had the privilege of accompanying her to numerous continuing educational courses, I had the opportunity to work chair-side with her for the two years that I was there. When it comes to her dental work she is a true perfectionist, she genuinely cares for her patients oral health, and takes all necessary steps needed to provide optimum dental care. The Dr Berry I knew was a very humble person who had no problem asking my opinion or what I thought about a certain procedure even though I already knew she didnt really need my input because she is very good at what she does. As far as technology and equipment she is always on top of the game. That is the Dr. Berry I know.

I was a patient of Dr. Berrys for 2 years. At the very start and at every subsequent visit, I made it clear that since I didnt have insurance I was interested in the most conservative treatment possible. On my first visit, they tried a hard sell for a $500 package for receding gums. When I asked what the conservative treatment was, I was told that waiting 6 months and adhering to proper brushing/flossing standards would not cause any further damage. I opted to do that. At a later visit I was told that I had multiple cavities that would cost $500 to fix. I declined the treatment. A year after that appointment I went to a new dentist who took a look at my teeth and said theyre fine: theres absolutely nothing that needs to be done. I dont know if its incompetence or greed, but either way I wouldnt recommend Dr. Berry.

I did not even get a chance to meet with Doctor Berry, as I was greeted by an exceptionally rude receptionist on the telephone. I wanted an appointment because a filling had broken and I was experiencing pain. I read good reviews for the doctor. However, the receptionist offered only one possible time slot which conflicted with my schedule, but then would not offer any other alternatives. The entire time she was abrasive and rude. Very condescending tone and seemed as if she did not care if I became a patient or not. Hopefully others dont receive such a poor welcome.

My husband and I are huge fans of Dr. Berry and her cooperative, cohesive, best-in-class team. They have helped us with both routine needs (cleanings, fillings, root canals, our young childs first visit) and emergency needs over the last year and a half (I fell on the ice and cracked a front tooth in early December - happened on a Sat night and Dr. Berry saw me at 7.30am on Monday). We are never over-sold on treatment and I feel like my questions about options are always answered and that they truly care about our familys health.

The best dental service that Ive ever had. Ive had everything from cleanings, fillings to root canals and a bite guard (and bite guard adjustments) and Ive never had any pain associated with the procedure. Most of all, the team is extremely kind and sweet. I know everyone on the staff and they even come out to personally greet you, even if they arent working with you that day (especially Crystal! She always makes a point to come and say hello!). Dr. Berry does fabulous work! You will love her and her team!

I have been impressed with Dr. Berry and her staff since I first started going there. Dr. Berry is amazing, gentle, and comforting (I am not a fan of going to the dentist). I trust her and she is very well versed on what is needed to ensure good dental health. The staff at Dr. Berrys office are wonderful to work with and make going there enjoyable. They are professional, kind, and knowledgeable. I strongly recommend those in the Syracuse area to go to Dr. Berry!

I love Dr. Berry! Shes a great dentist, and takes the time to learn more about me and any issues behind what she sees in my teeth. She remembers things from visit to visit, even with 6 months in between. Ive also been really impressed with the business side of things as well. Dr. Berry has been really helpful working with my insurance and ensuring I dont pay for more than I need to. I cant recommend this practice enough!
