I have always had wonderful experiences with Dr. Jacobson and staff, but this review reflects a billing issue that was handled very poorly by the office manager, Laurie Thompson. I have spoken to her on the phone several times, trying to understand and clear up an insurance error, and was blown away by her lack of professionalism and people skills. She handled our calls with such a passive aggressive attitude and jumped at every chance to interrupt and over talk me, as I tried to talk through the discrepancy with her. I dont write public reviews usually, or ever actually, but Laurie was a very special individual that provided me some of the worst customer service interactions Ive ever had. I hate that she represented the office in such a negative way and would encourage her to handle her future bill collection calls with more courtesy and civility. What an overall humiliating experience, thanks to you Laurie.

We had a great experience at Inverness Dermatology!! The entire staff was incredibly sweet and they took great care of my daughter. The PA Mary Beth was so caring and took time to explain everything to my daughter, who was very nervous. As a healthcare provider myself, I realize the importance of finding an office that makes a patient and the parent feel so comfortable. We look forward to going back if we have any other dermatology needs and have recommended them to all our friends!

Ive been a patient at Inverness Dermatology for a couple of years. I only have great things to say about this practice. I have a busy schedule, the office works with me to get scheduled with one of the doctors or PA. No matter who is caring for me every experience is wonderful! The office is clean, comfortable, and the staff is friendly! I would recommend Inverness Dermatology & Laser to everyone!

I feel that they are thorough in the evaluation of my skin checks. I am so excited about my cool sculpting results. They are great and getting better each day.

Stay away from these idiots. They use spammers from Pakistan to spam forums to build fake profiles with links to their website so they can try to rank higher in the search engines. This abuse of other peoples web properties creates a lot of extra work for forum admins to look for and delete all this spam. This is not cool. Good riddance to them.

SUCH wonderful staff! My nurse, Allison, did a wonderful job making me feel welcome and talking about my skin issues. The PA, Mary Beth, is hands down one of the sweetest people! She did such a good job explaining my situation and how it will be treated. I didnt have to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen. All around a wonderful experience!

I felt like a number, not a patient. They told me they would refile my insurance. Years later I received a letter from a debt collector. Tried calling the accounting dept. for two weeks and I cant get through.
