BEWARE! We purchased 4 pairs of glasses. They called us to pick up my sons $200 Nike glasses... when we get there, the frame of the glasses frame is broken! They pop his lenses into a beat up display pair and say here you go. I ask when the new frames will be order/in. Belinda proceeds to tell me we dont get a new frame, she tells me that everyone who orders glasses from them gets the display frame. I told her that is obviously a total lie seeing as how his new frame had arrived, it was just broken. After a bit of arguing back and forth, I asked for a call back from a manager. I received a call about an hour or 2 later and was told a new frame was ordered and they would call me when ready. I received a call about 4 days later stating the new frame was in. We went in to the store to pick up. Belinda opened the new frame in front of us to show us it was new. She then took the display frame they had initially given my son and told Kathy F. that she needed her assistance with the frames. Kathy F claimed that she had to go to the back for a machine to change the lenses to the new frames. She then comes back a few minutes later and says "here you go, new frames"! This was in-fact a COMPLETE LIE! She went in the back and acted like she was switching out the frames, but did NOT! What she must not have realized is that the display frames they initially gave us had a SCRATCH on the frame... the supposed "new" frame she gave us had this exact same scratch! When I called her out on this, she said Im not what your talking about but you can have your "old" frame if youd like (which was in-fact the NEW frame). I asked her for it and checked it out - guess what, this frame had NO scratches at all!! I again explained this to her and she said Im not sure and walked away and then said "ok, done, Ill switch out AND THEN PROCEEDED TO POP THE LENSES OUT AND PUT INTO NEW FRAMES IN FRONT OF US (so much for a supposed machine NEEDED to change to change lenses - ANOTHER LIE). I am in total shock over how deceitful they were. They were shiesty and for WHAT REASON??!! How exactly does this benefit them?! Im disappointed as weve purchased my kids glasses through them for the last 3-4 years BUT will NEVER EVER purchase from them again. They cant be trusted and dont deserve any more of my business than theyve already received. BEWARE of how they treat their customers!! Visionworks located at 14009 W McDowell Rd, Goodyear, AZ 85395

The first time I went in, I was treated like a human being. Subsequent visits were not so solubrious. My visit for eye exam was fine. it was getting the gasses which was so very unpleasant. I was shocked that despite paying over $150 for frames, I had the demonstration model. I picked my glasses up and they were given to me in a flimsy case which broke after three days. The total cost was such that I would have expected a decent case at least. The associate who served me was quite rude. Perhaps I caught her on a bad day - twice. The lenses just dont work for me. I cannot use them for computer work and had to buy a pair of cheap readers.

First experience there was awesome. Called to make an appt last week, Sarah I believe thats her name was unwilling to answer questions I had regarding my appointment. She was also rude and short with basic questions I had. Called again today to ensure my benefits were processed properly and she stated there is an out of pocket cost due to me wanting contacts, she remained silent and failed to explain what that cost would be to me and rudely asked if I had anymore questions. I told her to cancel the appointment. I will definitely purchase else wear. I do hope the office manager follows up, customer service is terrible.

Avoid this place at all cost there are tons of optometrist in our neighborhood. Coming from a family of health professionals I am disgusted with the treatment I received. Sarah the receptionist is very rude and very abrasive. This was the only optometrist office I had gone to as an adult, and The looks I received upon entering the door from Sarah to Her remarks Will keep me away from this office location forever. I am the father of two children and my wife and I wear glasses and contacts. Not a single one of us will ever give this company our business, nor would I recommend you go there. Period

Horrible customer service. As soon as I walked in the door they said can i help you with an attitude like saying what am I doing walking into their store? Little did they know I was about to spend about $500 on glasses for me and my husband. I told her I had a prescription and wanted to buy she just said to look around with an attitude. I just wanted to get out of that store. Besides they didnt even carry the brand I wanted anyways. I cant believe how horrible their customer service was. I will never give them my business.

Never go here!!! It was a horrible experience. I went in for contacts after having not wore them for a year. Droctor was the worst!! After my exam I put the contacts in went back to exam room everything was blurry. When I told him he said Id have to wear my glasses to! Yes at the same time!! What is the point of the contracts I asked and he couldnt get me an answer. After arguing with him over it for a few minutes I took the contacts out and left! Will never go back, will never recommend this place, ever!

I had a great appointment. Eye doc was a very nice man. Explained about why my prescription changed drastically. All the others were nice. Got new glasses and didnt have any issues. All experiences are unique, and Im glad I tried them even though their rating wasnt great. Joyce helped me with my glasses. She is extremely personable and went above and beyond my expectations. The other gal was very nice too. But I dont remember her name.

Was getting content lens. They had trouble finding the right ones. The last time i went the eye dr said here these look good. Your done. I cant see out of the wasted a lot of time and money. I have nothing. Im pissed off. He was made he had a lunch appointment and was late. I dont care. Its your job. I want my money back. And i now need new glasses as they cant get the contacts right.

I was nervous at first to come here due to the reviews but Im glad we chose here. The women working at the desks were very kind and helpful. The doctor was pretty good and friendly and his knowledge was up to date. They also have a good glasses selection. I recommend giving it a shot.

SLOW and their customer service is terrible! I wish I had an alternative to use other than Visionworks. This is the second location I have used with them and this one in Goodyear is worse but the company is SLOW on responsiveness to needs.
