I will never return to this family practice. I find them not only rude, but the doctor has no bedside manor. Further more she has no EMPATHY for her patients. On my 1st visit, she would not discuss more than 1 issue. All she wants is for her patients to return to get more money and bill insurance more. After losing my insurance, she did not want to work with helping me out by discounting services either. She is a very cold person, that does not get in tune with her patients and it is all business to her. I will not ever return to Dr Bernade Francois MD. I will tell all my friends, family and co workers and spread the word. She might call herself a doctor, but she is just a money hungry, lazy doctor. The nurse Practitioner they used to have there was wonderful, she even left the practice and went somewhere else, and i only imagine more people finding another provider due to the unprofessional manner and threatening workers they have in the work place. I was even told i could not leave a message for the doctor, nor could i speak to her on the phone! I guess she is above trying to really help people. Just because she went to school and did the time does not make her a good doctor. I didnt care for her the 1st visit and if it wasnt for the good nurse practitioners she carries, she would be out of business. She doesnt pay her employees well either as upon several visits, i her multiple complaints among them about not making very much money per hour and never getting a raise. I give her a zero rating and think this woman needs to take a customer service class on how to treat people with respect!

This practice only wants your money, not to provide adequate care. Listen to the previous posters!!! My mom and dad have to pay out of pocket as they have no insurance. My mom visits Ms Aponte for high blood pressure, pays $75. Meds make her feel unwell, calls for advice. Ms Aponte promises to call back repeatedly, but never does. Ms Aponte and company want another $75 just to talk. This practice does not care for its patients, just their money. My mom is really sick and suffering and theres not much being done. Do something other than to ask for a visit every time my mom has a question about her prescription, especially after a visit one or two days before.

Very Satisfied with this office. My previous general Physician office was rude and did not seem to care too much about my feelings. I was able to get an appointment at Sunset Family Physicians within 2 days of my calling. Because I needed to see a Physician right away, I could not get on the principal physician schedule, but the physician who saw me was very knowleadgeable. She made me feel real comfortable. awas The whole staff was very attentive to me. Another reason I like this office is because they take your blood right on the premises. With my previous Dr, they would send me to another clinic to take my blood, which is very inconvenient.

Dr. Cynthia Aponte is wonderful and extremely attentive to her patients. She is willing to push for every solution to help with an illness and its fantastic that I can get my womens wellness exam and depo shots there as well. The only complaint I have is that I have trouble refilling my medication unless I have an appointment. Also I called at 4:30 pm on a Friday and the office was already closed when they claim on their phone message to be open until 5:30.

Have waited over an hour to be seen. Physical exams took painfully long to complete (an hour and a half) Not a person in that office seemed to have any sense of time. The staff was indifferent and unfriendly. In calling the office Ive been on hold for 20 minutes at a time only to have the receptionist get back on the line as if I were a new caller. STAY AWAY from this practice.

This practice has no respect for your documents. According to the staff the old records are in no order stuffed in boxes and cant be gotten to. Yes, Im gonna sue for mishandling of sensitive documents if they do not show up fast. Argg!! What is wrong with people?

I have been going to this clinic for 4 years now along with any foster children that is in my care and they have been nothing but nice to us and very helpful in getting the care for the kidos i need.

Its Monday 9:20AM and they still havent turned on their phone system. Their hours are supposed to be M-F 8:30AM - 5:30PM. Guess Ill be changing to a doctor that can open on time.
