Humana is extremely unorganized! I called to get a list of doctors to go to and 99% of the doctors were no longer in their offices. I spent over three hours on the phone trying to get a doctor! In fact, one office said they do not even take Humana! Their drug coverage is terrible, and they hardly pay anything. Beware they do not pay for nurse practitioners. The one doctor I found assigned me to a nurse practitioner. I did not have a choice and now I have to pay for the visit. Humana does not pay nurse practitioners. If you want low cost prescriptions and an actual choice of doctors I warn you not to choose Humana!
