BILLING WARNING! We had a good experience with and appreciated the time & expertise given to my teenage son and I by Dr. Aaron Campbell. About 10-15 min to release the pressure/blood from under my sons throbbing big toe. What deserves warning are the rates and billing. I specifically told the attendant at the desk that we had a high deductible HSA with our insurance and asked how much it would be. "Oh, we dont really know so we cant quote you that at this time". Being mostly trusting and optimistic we moved quickly on in to the exam room. Fairly quickly a nurse came in and took blood pressure/temp. For us (since they wont quote you) the In Network charge was $764 from admission to through initial exam. To see the Dr. was $209 and for him to release the pressure was $344 (he let us keep the cool toy that quickly burns a small hole in the toenail. Lucky us). The negotiated total amount after insurance turns out to be $879. About 25 min total. Fast! I feel pretty strongly that they knew about how much most of this would be. They do it all ski season long! A very common injury in sports oriented towns. It was my fault for not pressing them perhaps. Surely they know how much it is to admit someone and take their temp and blood pressure when they walk in the door not looking sick at all. The billing person I complained to cited that this is an Emergency facility but it doesnt say so on the exterior of the building, or in the name web listing. This is a bad phase the "Urgent Care" industry is going through....managing the expectations of what the public thinks they are getting. Some are doing it right and others could be using the name to take advantage of people who come in with "non-urgent" ailments. To me (and I may be wrong) many of us go for the convenience of NOT going to an emergency room at a hospital. I had the opposite experience last week when I had to have ticks head removed which was buried fairly deeply in my back. The Dr. had to scalpel the thing out. I paid $120 up front, got my blood pressure and vitals, and was quickly taken care of. The industry (and this facility) need to figure out a way to tell people about what they may be paying for services. We were in town with a friend that was a Dr who gladly would have done this procedure for us, I just didnt want to inconvenience him during his vacation. Oh, thats right. This was the ONLY blemish on our great Utah vacation.

TIME WASTERS !!! Only because of a change in insurance did I move over to the U facility at Redstone. Not just one bad experience, but 3 in 30 days. I made an immediate change to a place in the valley that would accept my insurance and they were wonderful on day one!!! Round Valley Clinic by the Park City Hospital is so much better run and they truly work with their clientele as if they care. If you are able - be certain to see Dr. Strong. I had attended their for years until my insurance (the evils of Obama care) would not allow it any longer.

FRAUD LIARS you will be triple billed BEWARE!!! They tell you on the phone at urgent care it will be $150 the same price as a normal office visit and when you get your bill it will be $390 not including prescriptions. RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN or be ready to shell out BIG BUCKS! They bill you and your insurance. TOTAL RACKET SCAM and I will be starting a class action law suit.

We had a good experience taking our toddler to urgent care here. Made sure we were the first person in the door at 9am on a Sunday and it was very quiet. Staff were friendly and everything was clean. Cost depends on insurance and ours was the same as a regular office visit.

Horrible. Waited two months for an appointment scheduled online and when I showed up they had no record of the appointment. Then they told me I would have to wait another two months for an appointment! So frustrating when dealing with a very stressful health issue.
