A pinched nerve in my neck, what can I say. As painful and debilitating as it gets. I suffered with this for weeks before going to Backfit for spinal decompression treatments. This relieved the pain and re-extended my cervix, taking the pressure off the nerve. But the real benefit came with the neck roll treatments that began to move my cervix back into its correct curve. After 3 months of treatment my cervix has moved from a 19 degree negative position to a 12.6 positive curvature. Im 64 years old and this is far more movement and improvement than either Dr. Hanson or I had hoped for. I actually feel like this is more of a resolution than a life-long maintenance routine to stay out of pain. Obviously, Ill continue the maintenance program but I am overly delighted at the results and the hope for the future that I received from Dr. Hanson and Backfit Health. I should also mention the staff here; they are every good thing that you could hope to find in a clinic of any kind. Even so, their friendliness and welcoming attitude rises above the skill and attentiveness always apparent at this treatment center. I have moved up to Prescott and have returned to my previous Chiropractor but on the occasions that I am in Phoenix I return hear for check-ups and periodic X-rays and feel as welcomed and well taken care of as if I was still coming in weekly. Without question, such treatment is head and shoulders above the rest. My sincere thanks to all of you and in all your doings be you Blessed.

Top Notch group of professionals who know how to treat a patient and listen to your questions and concerns. From the time I walked into Backfit on Southern Ave. I felt this group was truly interested in helping me get my lower back in shape and in alignment. The ladies at the front desk greet you with a pleasant smile each time you walk through the door. The physical therapists allow you to progress at the level that works for you. Dr. Mark Zitnik conducts the adjustments with the utmost professional courtesy and is willing to answer any questions or concerns that you may encounter. Additionally, Linda will provide you with a wonderful massage to help loosen those tight muscles. I would highly recommend Backfit Chiropractic to everyone !

My first visit ever to a chiropractor was to Dr. Zitnik at Backfit after an awful car accident (I was 5 months pregnant at the time). He did wonders to help my through this difficult time. With all that he did to help me after the accident and after the birth of my daughter, I felt like a new person. He truly cares for your health and well being. When my family has visited me from out of town, I have even brought them here to have Dr. Z. fix them up. We all love the person and doctor he is. His staff and crew truly make you feel at ease and they show they love their jobs, especially Eddie.... He makes all the work seems effortless!! I would recommend Dr. Z and his staff to everyone and anyone who would listen to me!!!

I went in for a massage, filled out the paper work, then was ushered in to Dr. Mark Zitniks office. The chiropractor reviewed the history and made recommendations for my care rather than just the massage for my chronic neck stiffness and pain and low back ache. At first I thought this was odd as I had only booked a massage. However I was impressed with Dr. Zs approach to suggest some further treatment/physical therapy to have longer term results. It has had some positive results and basically is a life style wake up call. The challenge is always to continue the exercises but I am definitely more motivated. Thankyou Dr.Z. My back says "thank you". Dr. Pruni is awesome. He understands the importance of balancing physical therapy and aligning the back. James is incredibly good about taking care of every patient whether there are 2-10 people in the thearpy area. He knows everyone by name and connects on a human level. The front office works cohesively together and they are friendly. My back and neck are healing but I go back because of the personal attention, friendliness, and the abilty to get all different types of treatment for my back and neck at one place.

These guys know what they are doing. Ive been to them for neck and back pain due to long hours on the computer and they successfully alleviated all of my pain. 2 years later Im back for shoulder issues due to a car accident and they have again quickly relieved my pain. The 3 Chiropractors are very thorough and knowledgeable about the body. I love that they they use the natural approach of strengthening the body so it can heal itself. I would highly recommended them. If I suffer with pain in the future I will definitely be back.

I bought this as a Groupon and have not been sorry. Ive been going to chiropractors for over 35 years and have heard everything from I have Scoliosis to I need to see them 3 xs a week for life. Never have I had a Doctor recommend that proper exercises would benefit me more than adjustments. This place is wonderful. Everybody is friendly and welcoming and works together for my comfort. Ive never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for my appointment. I will definitely be continuing on with these guys!

This place is great. Everyone is friendly, helpful and schedule-friendly. I like how Dr. Z will always take the time to tell you why hes doing what hes doing, and he always provides very good reasons for this methods. I like that they dont just crack your back and neck, but try to solve the source of your problem. I did some physical therapy there, and it helped me a lot. I got quite a good workout from going here! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a chiropractor in Mesa.

We have been going to Backfit Health + Spine for years now, always with good results. The staff is friendly, the therapists are great and the docs are highly qualified and try every means to relieve the pain wherever it is. I have plantar fasciitis which made it difficult for me to walk. Dr. Pruni has worked with it until I no longer have an active problem. I would recommend Backfit to anyone who has pain or who just wants a good massage. They also have great massage facilities.
