My husband had been going to Sharper Vision for several years and had high reviews. My daughter was complaining about her eyesight and her pediatrician recommended I take her to get her eyes checked. My daughter and I both had our eyes checked and received a prescription. We were both told we needed to wear our glasses all day everyday. My daughter immediately had issues with her glasses. She was seeing double all of the time. We were told the issue was because we didnt purchase the anti-glare for her. We then had anti-glare added to her glasses and she was still telling me that she was having issues in certain light. Fast forward 7 months, my headaches returned and my daughter was telling me she could no longer see the board at school. We went to a new Ophthalmologist and were told that there was barely any prescription in either of our glasses and that our prescriptions were completely incorrect. We called Sharper Vision regarding this since we had spent several hundred dollars on glasses 9 months ago. The response was "You told us you needed a prescription for looking at your computer, not for reading and it is normal for children to see double and for their prescription to drastically change." The staff has been rude and condescending. I am questioning their ethics and their desire to provide care to their patients. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I am discussed with the response from Sharper Vision and their lack of professionalism.

I first came to Sharper Vision a few years ago after having a less than good experience at a different eye-care provider. With new insurance at work, I had been forced to leave my regular provider, and find a place that accepted my insurance. My first attempts at finding a new place had turned out badly - I thought surely I would never find a place as good as my old one. But Sharper Vision proved me wrong. The technology they have here, along with their expert knowledge, gave me what was perhaps the best eye exam I have ever had! When I got my new glasses, I was so excited - I could never remember seeing so clearly. And this doesnt even mention their service - which is, to say the least, fantastic. When it came time here recently to go in for another exam, I even brought my mother, who hadnt had an eye exam in years. She, too, was thrilled with the service and exam. We will both most likely be returning to Sharper Vision in the future.

Ive been coming to Sharper Vision since they opened. Dr Gieske treated me at another facility and I liked her so much, I brought my three children to see her too. We have been treated by both Drs Gieske and Schecter, and both are great! Now that the kids are on their own, my husband and I still come to Sharper Vision for our continuing eye care needs. The glasses we get from them sometimes seem more expensive, but the quality is fantastic! Sometimes, after two years of wear, my lenses look brand new! If not for a change in prescription, they are in excellent condition and couldve been worn much longer. Occasionally, Id try the cheaper glasses with other lenses that become scratched and I can hardly wait for my appointment to get new ones. Yes, Ive learned that Sharper Vision means quality eyecare!

VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE!!!! The quality of the eye exams is second to none, but once they determine your percription, get it written and go elsewhere for your glasses. I purchased a pair of single vision frames and lenses from them. They were real good ones, but I had insurance and you cant cheat on your eyes. I went to several opticians with my script to have the SAME IDENTICAL frames and lenses and found quite a price difference. Sharper Vision $750 for one pair. Others varied from $200-250 for TWO pairs....quite a difference and the others were with no insurance and Sharper Vision was after insurance!!!! INTERESTING!! You make the choice!

I have a multitude of eye problems, including horrible vision, flat corneas, astigmatism, and a history of ulcers in the eye. Not only was Dr. Schecter knowledgeable and helpful, but never in my 19 years of wearing contact lenses have I had an optometrist so dedicated to helping me find the right contacts for my multiple eye problems. Instead of just picking a lens and going with it, Dr. Schecter actually ordered multiple lenses for me to try on so that we could find the best fit. I was very impressed with that. One of the girls that work there isnt the friendliest, but really, the rest of the staff make up for that, especially Dr. Schecter.

Dr. Gieske is the kind of outstanding professional doctor I want to monitor my eyesight. I just had a concern with the health of my eye, and she and her staff promptly and professionally did a complete examination using the modern equipment you expect from an office on the leading edge of the available technology. Additionally, she has been fitting me with glasses and contact lenses for years, and I am very happy with the quality of the products. I give my highest recommendation to Dr. Gieske and Sharper Vision Eyecare.

Dr. Schechter has been my optometrist since she started practicing medicine, my family and I have followed her all over the valley because we appreciate her expertise, professionalism, patient and friendly care for our eyes. The selection of frames is amazing, always up to date and fashionable, varied enough to please our picky daughter and my 90 year old mother-in-law. The staff is friendly, professional and caring. Jake, one of the opticians, pays meticulous attention to the needs of patients, has great expertise at fitting/picking the right frame, and his customer service is commendable. We would not go anywhere else for eye care.

I had a great experience dealing with Sharper Vision Eyecare. It had been several years since my last eye exam, and I was in need of new contacts as well as a new pair of glasses. The customer service staff were courteous and very professional, and my eye exam was comprehensive and comfortable. The frames, lenses, and contacts were all priced very fairly and they worked with my insurance company without any issues. The selection of lenses and frames is great, and I was easily able to find exactly what I was looking for. If you are new to the area, or just looking to change optometrists, I would strongly suggest this office.

I have been going to Dr Teri for several years. She is truly a professional and and I believe she is one of best eye care doctors. She has help me immensely on a couple of separate occasions with eye problems. Not just ordinary eye situations but what could have been very complicated and serious situations. She has always acted quickly and would schedule me several consecutive visits to ensure my eyes were healing properly. The office staff have always been friendly. Wait time is very minimal. I so appreciate the time that has always be given to me to with my many questions! Thanks everyone at SHARPER VISION EYECARE!

I have been seeing Dr. Gieske for 16 years! We checked this last visit ha ha, I was just a kid then. Always very helpful and wonderful staff. I always feel comfortable and welcome. Also, I love the frames available here. Glasses and sunglasses this time, so excited! Anytime I had eye issues they always gave me free trials. The one time I had issues with my glasses and the prescription was filled incorrectly, the Sharper Vision team made it right by expediting the correction and providing a discount. I know errors can occur, the way they responded reinforced my loyalty. Awesome job and I will always recommend them.
