Dr Ruiz and her staff have provided professional veterinary care for various cats of ours over the past several years. The atmosphere at Central Phoenix Animal Hospital is very welcoming and all the staff are friendly and responsive. We are caretakers for the feral cats at Encanto Park and Dr Ruiz has been a wonderful resource whenever a cat from the Park has ended up coming home with us. I am very happy to have found Central Phoenix Animal Hospital.

I walked in without an appointment after my new puppy spent all night hacking. On the website it clearly states they take walk ins. After explaining his symptoms I was told "well it will be a while" in a snarky tone. I then preceded to say I believe he may have kennel cough. I received a response of "well, I dont know what to tell you." The only positive part, she gave me directions to another vet that happily took us in.

Dr. Ruiz is not only a good Vet, but she is compassionate to pet owners. She and her staff took excellent care of our dog. When it was time to put him down, they were very passionate, caring, sincere, and professional, among other qualities. She works with you. I would recommend her Animal Hospital to anyone. When we get another dog , she will definitely be our Vet. One faithful customer.

I am so happy I found the clinic for my cats. I recently moved here and worried to find competent doctos and staff. I used to be a RVT so used to knowing who was taking care of them. I have complete faith with everyone working there. Prices and availability for appointments are very reasonable and front staff are always cheerful and helpful. Highly recommend for vet care.

Just went here for the first time a few days ago to get my puppy started on his shots. Everybody was super great. Theyre all really nice & caring & gentle. I used google reviews to help me choose a place to go & am really glad I found them. They answered all my questions, even some I didnt know I had lol. Am happy to take my little guy here for all his needs.

Dr. Ruiz and staff are the best out of the many vets offices Ive been to over my life. Ive come there for mystery illnesses, regular checkups and over 16 years, putting down three dogs that I deeply loved. They show great sensitivity (I have NO idea why the past reviewer said they did not). And heres the crazy part.... the best is the lowest cost!

My first time here about a week ago and thiss staff was AWESOME! So nice, so helpful and so understanding that my dog is a little sketch with strangers and they treated her no differently and were very patient! Would recommend this place to anyone !!!

They were there for me when I had to make the tough decision to put my little buddy down (cat). They made the process as easy as something like this can be, even made a clay cast with paw prints and sent a card later on. Highly recommended.

They took excellent care of my dog at a very reasonable price. Dr. Ruiz was very professional and when it came to putting my dog down they were responsive and sensative. Appointments were always kept on time with a minimal wait.
