Have been going to Dr Ackerman for about 3 yrs, being highly recommended by a family member. He has been a great optometrist, the best Ive had in a lifetime of wearing glasses. He takes the time to answer any questions and to explain your vision requirements and possible solutions that are available to you. Super friendly and outgoing, his manner with me as a patient put me quickly at ease and he is able to relate the sometimes complex issues (to me) with my eyes in understandable terms. I highly recommend him and his staff!

They know what theyre doing. Im picky when it comes to glasses. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted. They showed me what I was looking for, then made other suggestions. I ended up going with their suggestion. I got full undivided attention, and expert advice. I left very happy. This place rocks.

So patient and kind, I was nervous about getting contacts for the first time and he made the process very easy. Great bedside manner, wants you to be comfortable, staff is kind as well. Clean, well kept office. They gave me all the time I needed.

Excellent eye care and customer service. Unlike other eye doctors I have seen in the past, Dr. Ackerman took great pains to get my difficult prescription as right as it could be, and he explained the issues so that I could understand.

Place is nice - service is great - receptionists friendly. Joel is also professional and fun. They take the crappy cigna insurance which is a HUGE plus and provide good service. Hard to find with a cheep junky insurance plan.
