Id give it more stars just for the actual Doctors but the administration people make it or break it! They are rude and impatient and will not hesitate to call the onsite police to have you removed!! Every time I have to go there, check in or talking to billing, Im treated like I just ruined their day. In talking to you or answering your questions they mumble in broken English so you have to ask for a repeat which annoys the hell out of them and only makes it worse. Now, for them being Mexican and having to always speak Spanish no matter WHO is at the counter with you or on your phone, I dont speak much Spanish - especially guttural slang - I DO, however, speak enough to know when you are being belligerent or contentious about me with one of your co-workers! Ive been waiting for over 16 weeks for a credit refund that they said was only going to take 8 weeks and am now told they will pay me ... when ever the insurance clears. The insurance HAS cleared I know because I checked right after the hospital called me 3 weeks ago harassing me for payment from insurance, and when I inquired about my refund they copped an attitude with me and hung up on me. When I inquired today in person they told me its coming ... WHEN? ... dont know, so I told them I would wait right here. They immediately called the police and had me removed!! Personal message to ALL of Maricopa Staff: IF you hate your job so much QUIT!! GO BACK to Mexico and let a true American have their job back! Obama is NOT the President any more!!!

It looks like several fine members from our community are running for this Board. MIHS was a total and complete disaster for me. I used my health insurance here for years because I wanted a single medical record. Bad idea. Finally my very own "Nurse Ratched" insisted that I come in to have a maintenance med filled. After I waited for a couple hours and complained, she refused to see me and refused to fill my prescription. I used the Guadalupe Clinic and Nurse Ratched only spoke English and had to call a translator every time she saw a patient. She repeatedly told me that MIHS was for indigent people. She forced me to leave the system in order to get care. I am now with a former private doctor who has a much improved information system. He asked me when my last tetanus shot was. My vote will go to whoever can tell me (without my going into a MIHS induced rage) how to find out if I had a tetanus shot, while I was with MIHS. The clinic records and emergency records do not seem to pair up well. I will probably just get another tetanus shot, because I do not think MIHS is capable of finding this information for me without demonstrating its incompetence. I lost all faith in this system.

My son needed to get on Zoloft for his anxiety. The only way to get it was to call them up because of his depression. Ever since they put him on it hes been back to his self again. Hes much happier ...now instead of releasing him . They decided on their own to decide hes suicidal now. He has major health issues .. recently had a stroke..which left him blind on his left eye ECT. So to make the long story short. The staff on Unit10 are supposed to be there to help every individual correct? Then why is it since hes been there that hes suffering more everyday. He had dialysis and got back in alot of pain. He had to wait hours to get some relief. Hes been feeling sick again today since 3am in the morning and again hes being ignored. Finally he him being upset through all this behaviour from this sold called no good for nothing lazy as staff. He started getting chest pain around 7:pm . Oh now the all decided to jump up and send him to the ER. Let me remind you..they should have a chart there of his history of medical problems correct?? Let me give you a few..He has Alports syndrome...he has heart problems..he just had a stroke and needs his therapy which he isnt getting in there.

For the last year i have been dealing with chronic anemia n been having abt 45 blood transfusions and for the most part they were providing a ok service till couple months ago that i got to the ED with shortness of breath and of the er doctor with out running any test of anything she told me that my shortness of breath was due to that i needed to loss atleast 20 pounds after she run some test she found some shadows in my lungs ( i have history of blood clots in my lungs ) so she keep me in the hospital for couple days with blood thinners a month later i got to the hospital with my hemoglobin levels of 4.2 and the same doctor accused me of "doing it to my self so i could get some narcotics " like if i could really make my body destroy my red blood cells n not to absorb the iron. Now i have to have iron infusions every week to try to keep up my iron leves up a little bit.. I used to think that it was a good hospital till this incidents i cant belive that doctors there see you as a drug seeker when they have in their file that people do have a valit chronic pain problem like me . Not all of us are drug addicts. Doctors need to be more professionals

WARNING YOU WILL BE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST YOUR HEALTHCARE CONCERNS NEVER GET ADRESSED BUT YET THEY CHARGE YOUR INSURANCE COMPANIES FOR VISITS. BUT REFUSE TO TREAT OBVIOUS HEALTH ISSUES. FOR PATIENTS TO THEIR JOBS FOR THEM I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A FACILITY SO UNWILLING TO TREAT THEIR PATIENTS OR HAVE ANY CONCERN OR COMPASSION. IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY ESPECIALLY. AND ARE LOW INCOME. THEY DONT GET ENOUGH MONEY FROM MEDICAID TO CARE ABOUT GENUINELY TREATING THEIR PATIENTS. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH AND WELL-BEING RUN AWAY FAST FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE ESPECIALLY THE WOMENS CLINIC THE SAD THING IS THEY KNOW US DISABLED AND POOR FOLK CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT RIGHT!! FIRST DO NO HARM HA ONLY IF YOUR WHITE AND RICH CAUSE WHO CARES ABOUT THE REST NOT THE FACILITY WHOS SOLE RESPONSIBILITY IS CAREING FOR ARIZONAS LESS FORTUNATE OR SO THEY PRETEND. ALL THEY DO IS SCHEDULE OR REFER YOU TO SOMEONE ELSE THE CHARGE THE INSURANCE COMPANIES FOR NOT DOING A THING ESPECIALLY THEIR JOB DISABILITIES ACTS OF ARIZONA AND DISCRIMINATION HERE I COME PATIENTS SHOULD NOT BE TREATED IN THE WAY YOUR FACILITY HAS DONE.

HORRIBLE!!!!! I HAD SURGERY THERE ON 11-05-2012. THE RECOVERY ROOM NURSE WAS HORRIBLE!! THE FOLLOW UP VISITS WERE TOTALLY UNHELPFUL. I SAW ONLY A PHY. .ASSISTANT. I WAS NOT IMPORTANT ENOUGH FOR THE SURGEON TO SEE.! DISSOLVING STITCHES WERE NOT USED SO I HAD TO ENDURE TERRIBLE PAIN WHILE THIS ASSISTANT PULLS THE STITCHES OUT WITH SCIZZORS AND TWEEZERS. THE STITCHES BLED AND NOTHING WAS USED FOR PAIN OR CLEANING DURING THE ENTIRE PROCEDURE. SIX WEEKS LATER I PULLED OUT A STITCH THAT WAS LEFT IN WHEN I WAS RUBBING VITAMIN E OIL ON THE SCAR TISSUE. I HAVE IT IN A PLASTIC BAG. I REFUSE TO RETURN FOR TREATMENT AFTER THIS EXTREMELY PAINFUL PROCEDURE. I DO NOT LIKE OR TRUST THIS HOSPITAL. ALSO, THE ADMINISTRATORS MADE ME WAIT MORE THAN THREE WEEKS FOR ANKLE SURGERY BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE INSURANCE. MY SON AND I LIVE ON MY SMALL SOCIAL SECURITY CHECK BECAUSE HE HAS BEEN TOO SICK TO WORK SINCE 12-24-2012. HE WAS IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM ON 12-26-2012 AND 1-13-2013.
