My dog died in successive overnight pain after Dr. D turned down our emergency call for help. He was obsessed with an assumption that his treatment was right and totally off-the-guard on the downside risk of IMHA, which even ordinary person could find by searching the web. On the other hand, Dr. S called us to inform the blood test result from outsourced laboratory to tell my dog was terminal cancer, no treatment available and what we could do was only to wait him die. Also she added that we should take his dead body to no other place than theirs. She corrected her view 3 hour later but professionals with ordinary attentiveness would never jump to such an frivolous action. The common weakness both Dr.s have is a lack of due professional care and that is a fatal flaw to medical profession who handle lives. Id retired from auditing and consulting services to US listed companies as a CPA, CIA, CISA in Japan, and though I dont deny their excellence in people skills but cannot help saying their professional knowledge, skill, and consideration to patients are substandard.

I am the pickiest person alive when it comes to vets. I have walked out of vets before because of their poor care. With that pretext, this is one of the most excellent vets I have been to. I have seen two doctors here, mainly Dr. Izumi is our cats vet. After going to 4 vets, all of whom gave my cat different injections and stuff, I finally came here and his problem finally went away. I also bring my little tea cup chihuahua here and they are generally very good at clipping her nails (no hitting the quick) besides the lady who smokes who got her quick on almost every nail (poor Lupita.) On top of being awesome vets, their prices are some of the best in the area. Most North Scottsdale vets really rip you off (but they have to pay overhead so I cant blame them) but this place is great. Thanks Pinnacle Peak Animal Hospital!

The doctors and staff at P.P.A.H. are wonderful. They are efficient, professional and so compassionate. Whether you are making an appointment at the front desk, or meeting with one of the veterinarians you know you are getting excellent care. While rates may not be the first concern for many of us animal lovers P.P.A.H. is very fairly priced. I have recommended this practice to my friends and hope you check it out, too! I just want to add that our cats have been to this hospital for everything from regular checkups to end of life care. Currently they are treating one of our kitties for an emergency case of poisoning from the tiger lily flower. Not only did Dr. Stevenson and her terrific staff get our cat through...they got us through as well. Special thanks to Meghan!

My Boxer and I just had our first visit with Pinnacle Peak Animal Hospital and I am certain we will continue to go here!! Typically my dog is anxious to leave any vet office but this was not the case this time, he came out of the back room looking much happier. My first visit assures me they are doing a wonderful job and truly care about what they are doing! Dr. Izumi took her time with a thorough inspection physically and verbally as if she was caring for her own fur baby. I am sure we are getting the treatment we needed that we did not get at our last visits at other vet offices. I recommend anyone in the area in need of a vet to check them out.

Being that my primary vet is located in NY, I came upon PPAH by chance. New to Arizona, and unsure of where to take my beloved pups, Im glad I came here. My fur kids have received wonderful and friendly care. My only reason for deducting a star is for the lack of disclosure. For peace of mind and my own understanding, I wouldve appreciated being told what was going to be/had been done. - Speaking for myself, when Im worried and stressed about any of my babies (whether two-legged or four) being asked if I have any questions [without any information] only leaves me confused in the moment.

I have been taking my cats here for several years and have always had a great experience with the staff and veterinarians. Dr. Izumi is my favorite. I never feel rushed to get out and the prices are definitely affordable. They dont try to upsell you. And you can even get your prescriptions through Drs. Foster and Smith if you choose. They did great work on my cats dentals and made sure that my one cat with a murmur was in a healthy state before putting him under anesthesia. Highly recommended and very happy to be a client!
