I have really enjoyed my experience with dr. Cimenello at DC Ranch vet. She is very compassionate and takes time to really talk to you. It was our great misfortune that she was not available when we made the extremely heart crushing decision to finally put our boy Jesse down after an 11 month battle with canine myelopathy ( similar to human muscular sclerosis). He suffered everyday, what once was a great agility dog and lake dog who would catch the boat ties in his mouth and pull 50ft cruisers over to the dock had become a front 2 legged dog ( the back two were now flaccid) that had to pull himself with great effort, tearing and rubbing his skin raw, pooped and peed on himself everyday and declining appetite. He was miserable. Dr. Bartz was on duty when my husband regretfully brought him in to be put down. My husband was completely sick with a broken heart to have to do this but she felt the need to second guess our decision. No one is our dogs advocate more than us, the people who raised him, trained him and loved him! Especially not a vet who never knew him. So my husband contacted jesses vet in Tulsa who made the d,iagnosis and told us this day would come, asking her to talk to Dr Bartz and after a huge guilt trip by the doctor about the decision we painfully made to bring mercy to our beloved lab, she agreed to put him down. Im so sorry Jesses last hour was like that. Im so sorry my husbands last moments with his favorite boy were filled with guilt and argument by the vet. Now thats a fine way to say goodbye to someone you love so much. How about being a pet owner advocate and show some mercy and compassion? Otherwise, my experience with this center has been kind and professional. In other words, besides that, how was the play mrs Lincoln?

DC Ranch animal hospital is wonderful. First of all, they are extremely charitable and hold events to support the local rescue community. They also offer their services at a highly discounted cost to local rescues. Dr. Bartz makes you feel like you are really important. She hangs out with you, gets on the floor with your pet, loves on them, and knows them by name. She actually spends time with your pet. DC Ranch has seen my doberman through annual exams, injuries, anxiety, and also the diagnosis of vWD. In fact, while my dog was having bleeding issues after hours, Dr. Bartzs husband had come by to get her at the hospital, and instead ran an errand to get a medication my dog needed since the hospital was out of it. I hate to say it, but at a lot of human and animal Dr offices, the front staff is not all that nice. At DC Ranch, the front staff is SO SO nice, so helpful and they value their clients/patients. It is so refreshing. Highly recommend DC Ranch Animal Hospital!

I just moved to Arizona and was looking for a veterinarian in Scottsdale. I found DC Ranch Animal Hospital and Im really glad I took my cat to them. I was immediately greeted by a friendly receptionist, who got me right into a room. Ryan, the vet tech and practice manager came in, introduced himself and got to work taking all the basic information down. He was very good with my cat and was really nice. Dr. Maguire came in to check on my cat and me, and he provided great information and care. He was very good at explaining what was going on, what I can do to help, and how to avoid problems in the future. I highly recommend DC Ranch Animal Hospital to be your veterinarian in Scottsdale because they are knowledgable, friendly, and offer services at a very reasonable price. I will be going back to DC Ranch AH, but hopefully wont have to for a long time because I will have a healthy kitty. Thanks for all of your help Ryan and Dr. Maguire!

Have used DC Ranch Animal Hospital for my dogs for the past ten years. I have gone through aging dogs to new puppies during this time and have used their medical, surgical, grooming, dental and all other types of care. Julie and her staff have been wonderful throughout. The care they give the dogs and the owners as well when the end is near has been superb. As an MD I am in a position to judge somewhat better than the average person and I would say the use of lab studies, x-rays and consultants has been thoughtful, appropriate and helpful. I recommend DC Animal Hospital enthusiastically and sincerely.

I am committed to DC Ranch Animal Hospital because when the leader of the business, Dr. Bartz is so good with the animals, she sets the example for all to follow. Doctor Bartz cares about my animals! She treats mine just like she would her own. She has gone to ALL lengths to save my Rotty and got me more time with her. Her compassionate care always puts the dog first. If she has any fault it is she cares TOO MUCH! I am so lucky to have a place close to my house that I can fully trust and know she has my animals and my best interest at heart. We just moved to DC Ranch and I can walk our 2 dogs to DC Ranch Animal Hospital. Dr. Bartz and her staff are very kind and compassionate. Dr Bartz is also a fantastic vet. In all the years we have had pets (since 1989) I have never met a vet who does such a complete exam. I am very happy to take our dogs and cat to DC Ranch Animal Hospital for all their primary care needs.

We changed to DC Ranch Animal Hospital a few years ago when our dogs were older. Dr. Bartz and her staff took excellent care of them in their senior years and was so kind and compassionate when the time came to say goodbye. We now have 2 more dogs and I would not think of taking them anywhere else as I know they are in great hands with Dr. Bartz!

We just moved to DC Ranch and I was out walking our three Siberian huskies when one had been stung or bitten. I went straight to DC Ranch Animal hospital and they were amazing with my dog. They got me in right away and I even received a call from the Vet the next day to see how my boy was doing. Great personal care very impressive.

Dr. Bartz is the most compassionate veterinary practitioner I have ever met. Our dog Ziggy kisses her before and after every encounter. She was early in her diagnosis of hypothyroidism and her timing, treatment and caring brought Ziggy back to full puppy mode. I highly recommend her and her amazing staff.

Happy with our experience at DC Ranch Animal Hospital. Easy to schedule an appointment. Went right in and then they spent good amount of time with us... Friendly staff. Invited us to come back often to have our dog weighed (shes trying to lose a few pounds!). Well be back!
