21 year relationship with this physician. Kind, old-fashioned style doctor but absolutely no ability to manage complex medical issues despite explicitly stating he can. Terrible reception. Changed Benzodiazepine medications to which I had a very bad reaction, then removed me for a panic-induced but yes - pitching a full-out fit - and I absolutely did just that (but physically touched or threatened on no one, just yelled out in anger and rage) in his office when being dictated to by his very well trained pit bull of a gatekeeper. Reviewer earlier mentions being treated rudely by phone staff - oh how this has been true in my long experience! I should have left years before. As I said, hes kind. But I now recognize that kindness is not necessarily helpful in true medical care. I hadnt been treated kindly when I met him. That was what appealed to me and that is why I stayed. So I cannot criticize him for lack of bedside manner. He always spent ample time with me too. Bedside manner in this case - and if thats what youre looking for and can bear the rude reception desk people - cannot be called out as anything less than very good. But insofar as medical treatment of an individual, paying attention to details, detecting illness earlier and taking a more proactive role in a very sick patient? Utter failure that ended up truly harming me due to lack of good organization as a Primary Care Physician in relation to the medications, the side effects they were causing, and allowing my strong personality be reason to not speak up and instead just pull out a prescription pad. I was always direct, honest and fair prior to this incident. For my actions I am accountable, for yelling and having a fit and being mean, I absolutely acknowledge I did that. One time in person in 21 years of loyalty and patient conformance to treatment. This photo is what was given to me monthly over the past 3 years. Overmedication much? I went from 210 pounds and am now 130 pounds and they never once changed a dosage based on weight. Healthcare crisis and over-doping in the USA and especially Arizona? JUST SAY NO TO BIG PHARMA and the US non-health non-care system. Its so sick its time to euthanize it all.

My appointment was at 830am and it took over 30 minutes for them to call me back. I dont understand why they didnt just schedule me for 9. I guess my time isnt as valuable as theres. But it gets worse once they took me back and weighed me. I waited in the exam room for over 25 minutes. This has not been the first time the service has been bad. I have had this experience the last 3 years. I only come once a year for a check-up. But this will be my last visit to this doctor.
