My husband was scheduled to be a new patient (keep in mind that our entire family sees Dr. Tan and they have for the last 15 years) unfortunately our insurance cards did not come in the mail in time. We contacted the office to let them know and asked if we could bring in a printed card from online. She refused to hear anything more from us. Was VERY rude. When we requested to speak to Dr.Tan to let him know who our family was she LIED and said that he was not in the office. Hmm, find that weird since it was 9am and you can book your earliest appointment at 8am. I will be sending a letter to Dr. Tan informing him of just how rude she is!

I dont usually take the time to write a review, but this needs to be known. The front office and so called "office manager" lack knowledge on how to do there job. I called several times to speak with office manager and never recieved a phone call back regarding issues we had with insurance and billing. I then had to certify a letter so that way I had proof I am trying to reach out. STILL NO RESPONSE! Anytime you try to call and get answers they will ignore your true questions. Also tried to get in touch with doctor and never was a chance too. I would never recommend this office unless you like being taking advantage of.

Dr. Tan and his staff are extremely competent and run an independent office rather than part of a doctor pool. The doctor spends time with the patient to explain his diagnosis and get the patients input. Using that technique he was able to spot a blood abnormality and we were able to quickly respond to a curable type of leukemia (hairy cell.) I would recommend him, you bet!

Been going to Dr. Tan for 13 years and he is a very caring person, conscientious, and trustworthy! They broke the mold when they created him!!! He actually listens to your problem and diagnoses accordingly.
