Before my husband & I scheduled our back-to-back initial appointments, we asked if our previous X-Rays could be accepted so we didnt have to be subjected to more radiation. The receptionist put me on hold to check and the answer was yes. I called back to make sure the X-Rays were received, and the receptionist confirmed they were. The morning of our appointments I called to confirm that we needed to arrive 15 minutes before our exams to fill out paperwork. I was brought back first by the hygienist who told me she needed to take X-Rays. I informed her that our X-Rays were emailed, but she said more needed to be taken. I told her we would not have booked the appointments if our X-Rays were not accepted. She left the room and returned (I assumed she spoke with the dentist), stating our X-Rays were acceptable, and there was no problem to proceed with our exams and cleanings. Then the dentist came in and said he needed to take X-Rays. I was confused and protested, based on the facts above. He threw my X-Rays on the table and rudely said, "Have a nice day." He had every chance to explain his reasons, but - in my opinion, chose to be offensive. I went back into the lobby and told my husband what happened. We drove an hour to this appointment, and we were both very upset. We went to the front desk to ask for ALL our records, including the paperwork and X-Rays. The dentist came into the lobby and asked at us to leave. We were trying to tell him that we needed to collect our records, but he wouldnt listen... his behavior, in my opinion, was not only unprofessional, it was alarming. The receptionist gave us our records and we left, driving another hour home. In a way, I am thankful I witnessed this dentists temper BEFORE he had a chance to work on my teeth or my husbands. My husband and I retired from businesses where we were self-employed and ran by appointments. We cannot believe how we were misinformed about the X-Rays, were not apologized to by the dentist, and were treated unacceptably.

When I first walked into this place, I had a toothache that I knew was going to require some heavy work based on the advice of another dentist. I chose to come here because it was supposed to save me money. BOY WHAT A MISTAKE! Over the period of three months, they removed two of my good crowns and sent me out to have three teeth removed in preparation for a partial. I had to pay up front for the work, but when it came time to actually move forward (After waiting for the removals to heal.) their doors were closed. I filed a complaint with my credit card company, but it was beyond the 90 days due to the healing time and two postponed appointments. This place STOLE nearly $3000 of my money and left me with multiple removed teeth... and to top it all off, I cant afford to go elsewhere to get the work done because they already took the dental funds... so now the teeth that once had good crowns are exposed and rotting. At least one of these two teeth will also need to be removed in the near future. Not only did they ruin my mouth, but they have robbed me of the ability to eat a nice juicy steak. If they every open their doors again, take this advice: STAY AWAY! They have business policies that are questionable at best... and downright immoral by my experiences.

Rudy went to Half Dental to have a crown placed on a tooth. He was given a temporary while the permanent one was being made. He had to return multiple times during a two week period to have the temp replaced as it kept falling off. He expressed to the staff that it was not made correctly and was not going to stay on and they told him that the dentist was not available and they could only glue the temp back on for him and nothing else could be done. On Dec. 29th, he was supposed to finally have the permanent one placed on his tooth, and when he showed up, the office was closed and a sign on the door with no forwarding information. I have included a picture of the sign. After calling the office and getting no answer, we filed a dispute with our HSA bank because Half dental had already charged me $300. I also called another office to see if that dentist was working to complain and was told that he was no longer with the company.

Let me tell you this place is awesome. I had already seen two other dental offices before coming to this one. I decided to get my work done here because I felt this office, especially Dr. S, was very informative and provided me all my options. I had a big cavity and I appreciated the fact that the doctor did not do root canals and he made it very clear that he would do his best to avoid a root canal, showing me that he cared. the other doctors I went to immediately recommended a Root canal and crown but Dr. S wanted to try and prevent it. Also I thought the staff was super professional and nice. Although the price may not exactly be cheap considering the name, I still thought it was way more affordable than the other offices and more importantly I felt the office cared way more than the others.

I was in town for business and was in some serious pain. The hotel staff recommended Half Dental. They were able to get me in the same day and the staff was friendly once I arrived.The dentist was able to diagnosis the problem quickly and told me my options. I didnt feel any pressure to make a choice. The dentist explained each step during the procedure which seemed to put me at ease. The aftercare was explained and I was on my way. I still made a late afternoon appointment when a similar procedure in the past caused me to miss two days of work. The cost was extremely fair and I even received a call the next day to see how I was doing.

After YEARS of having problems getting any denture to fit..... I made an appointment with Half Dental on Oracle Road. Ive NEVER BEEN HAPPIER with ANY dental office .... EVER!!! Not only are my new implants and dentures PERFECT... allowing me to eat my first real meal in over four years ... but the doctors and staff are FABULOUS AS WELL!!! I dont usually write reviews ... but this office of professionals DESERVE GREAT ONE!!! They TRULY care about YOU!! If youre looking for a new dentist or specialized dentistry.... LOOK NO FURTHER.... YOURE HOME!!!!! Make an appointment today!!! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!!! ♡♡♡

Love this place!!! never been a fan of going to the dentist but this office is amazing!!! the dentist is very proactive, knowledgeable and most importantly he is passionate about his work (and he is very handsome which is a +). Dr. S explained to me step by step about my treatment and what to expect. the hygienist was also very thorough (maybe a little too thorough) but my cleaning was AWESOME and she did a great job! Im giving it only 4 stars instead of 5 because it is a dental office after all.
