I have never been so impressed by a dentist. At the end of his day, just prior to closing, Dr. McClung not only scheduled me in, but performed a double extraction with a minimum of discomfort. I hadnt slept in weeks, you know, suffering from the sort of tooth pain that jerks you awake every time your head moves against a pillow. The type of pain that forces you to pull over occasionally while driving, so you dont crush a toyota when your leg involuntarily pushed the pedal to the floor. So Dr. McClung gets me in, agrees that the extraction is the best option for the remains of the molars and less than forty minutes after I called him Im shaking his hand and thanking him for his services. His DISCOUNTED services, because not only was he efficient and skilled, he worked with me on billing and pricing. But thats not all. Im home, its eight in the evening and Im holding an ice pack to my face, as directed for swelling, when my cell rings. Its Dr Jesse (Cuz anyone willing to put a hand in your mouth without going ewwwwww is a friend, right?) calling to see how Im feeling. I didnt get a call from his receptionist, or assistant. The doc himself took five minutes out of his time to check on me. Im 42 years old, have had six or seven extractions in the last twenty years in five or six states, and never have I received such attention. I have long term work to do to get my mouth in proper shape, and I finally found someone I know will do it right. Thank you Dr. Jesse McClung. You have a new patient/customer for life.

So let me start off by saying, Im that adult that is absolutely terrified of the dentist. In the past Ive only ever dealt with rude upfront staff, and a back room staff that only want you in for the money. But here, Ive never felt so welcomed and comfortable. At my first visit last week, I ended up needing 4 filings (a complete surprise) and they were able to fit me in that day, now remember, the dentist is petrifying to me, so as I sat there literally shaking in fear, the dentist (I apologize for not knowing his name) talked me through the entire process, let me get up and walk around, and simply sat with me until I was ready enough for the procedure. During, he made sure to ask how I was doing and let me take little breaks when I felt overwhelmed. Truly and honestly my BEST dental experience ever. Today I went in for a wisdom tooth removal, this time I was with the lady dentist they have (again, not sure on the name). Same experience, I was very shaky and scared, she talked me through it, checked on me the entire time, and it was a very quick/easy. The hygienist are so sweet and very well educated. They make sure you understand why you need this or that before just doing anything. The front desk staff is so friendly! They are very willing to work with you on payment plans and dont ever pressure you or make you feel bad for not having the money right that second. Seriously, dont waste your time going anywhere else. They even play good music!

I dont usually write many reviews. However, the team at Big Sky Dental Center is freaking awesome!! I was in town visiting some relatives for Christmas . I was telling my sister how I never have time to get my teeth checked. I am always making some sort of excuse, because I hate going to the dentist. Anyway, she referred me to them. She had just taken my 17 month old niece there. They had a great visit. I called and asked if they could fit me in. The gal on the phone( Sheila) was so nice.- She was able to squeeze me in on the same day. When I arrived I filled out my paperwork and promptly started my exam and cleaning. I was so happy that I did not have to wait forever to get in. Most doctors make you wait forever in the waiting room. Staci, cleaned my teeth. She was extraordinary. I could tell she was very experienced . My teeth have never felt so clean. Dr. Flechas did my exam. He was very thorough. I was super excited not to have any cavities. However, I had a little bit of staining from enjoying red wine. We discussed whitening options. They have a great teeth whitening package. Near the end of my visit I felt like I was flying first class. Before I left the exam chair I was brought a hot towel! It was very refreshing. Oh yea, they gave me a new water bottle as a parting gift. I highly reccomend this office. This is going to be my new dentist and I live over 2 hours away!!! Cheers!

Had 3 cavities filled and a crown redone- Taylor (dental assistant) and Dr. Flechas were awesome from the minute I shook hands with them. Very thorough in their explanations, treat you with respect as a customer and are just down right nice people to be around. I was able to use some of their Bose noise cancelling head phones and plug into my own personal phone to play music while they did my initial cavity fill. I loved it! this made my experience move to an A++! Highly recommend this duo to any of you that need extensive dental work done or just the basic teeth clean. I am really glad I chose to go with Big Sky Dental out of the countless other practices in Bozeman. Receptionist are outstanding too, which made a huge difference for me when I walked in for my first appointment, I came from using MINT in town (were I had a god awful experience with the front desk their) and I wont go back! BSDC front desk ladies are helpful, kind, professional and really took the time to go over all the details that needed to understand. No question went unanswered and they never made me feel like an idiot for asking in the first place. They really double check/triple check their work too- communicating with all members of the dental team. THANKS GUYS AGAIN!!!! Ps. if you are looking for a dental practice that does Peace Corps Dental exams- these are the guys to go too!!

I scheduled my appointment with Sheila. She was outgoing, professional, and excited to bring me on as a new patient. I arrived to my appointment and Julie greeted me at the reception / waiting room. I unfortunately did not have my "dental insurance card" but did have my "medical insurance card". She spent some time digging into it while Lee began my exam and Julie found my information (Thank you!). To be clear, I hadnt been to the dentist in 12 years. What I recall was old technology and equipment. I wouldnt say that I have ever had a bad dental experience in my past. I will say, this was a spa day for my teeth. Lee was my dental hygienist and she was fast, efficient, and thorough. She took the time to explain any concerns as well as consider my concerns. For it being 12 years, I had some serious cleaning/stain removal. Lee did an absolutely amazing job. Dr. McClung reviewed my xrays, inspected my teeth and gums, and went over his concerns on what I should keep an eye on. He was friendly, professional, and great with dental chair-side manner. Overall, great 1st visit. I look forward to my next appointment! Oh, and I am sending my wife there!
