When I called to make an appointment , the lady on the phone was extremely nice and helpful. I asked her for a price range for a simple tooth extraction and she told me it ranged from $79 - $150 which I though was fair and decent. I booked to be seen the very next day and arrived on time. Again the staff was extremely polite and welcoming. I waited 45 minutes before anyone saw me. After doing the x-ray and seeing the doctor, they decided to extract the tooth. The nurse did not know how to take a proper xray. She took over 5 shot and still didnt have luck. Finally she got another assistant to take it and she failed at it first and got it right second time. The doctor didnt say a word to me or inform me about what he had planned to do or anything. They numbed my mouth completely and as I was sitting there slurring my words and talking to my sister the nurse turns the computer screen and says this will be your total today $251.00!! aside from the 25 initial fee!! I told her i was a student and cant afford that and I was told differently on the phone. She completely flipped her attitude and didnt like how I objected to the price.I asked why it was so high and she said they had to surgically remove the tooth and its not an easy process and he needs to break the tooth to pieces to remove. I managed to bring the price down to 200 and i had to beg! Afterwards they sent me back to the waiting room (mouth still numb) to wait my turn pushing me to last person. The secretary who set up the appointment and gave me the prices wouldnt even look at me. The entire staff is a joke and trained to lie and cheat customers. I ended up paying the 25$ fee and leaving. Next day I go to a different doc. I tell him im a student pay 70$ and it took him literally 7 minutes to finish and I was out! NO SURGICAL NO BS! AND PAIN FREE!! Overall the experience was awful and I would never recommend anyone going there in fact Id just tell them to tie their tooth to a string and doing it old school than go here. They are unprofessional and at the same time professional at lying if that counts, extremely rude, assistants are incompetent and dont know what their doing or looking at. If you are reading this I hope I have convinced you to take your teeth somewhere else.

Being new to the area, and finally signing up for a medicare supplement that also provides dental coverage, we knew we needed to find a dentist. When we received the booklet from the medicare provider which listed all the dentists in the area in the system, we werent sure how to narrow down our choices. In order to do this we compared several dentists that listed the same addresses. This told us that they were probably in some sort of assembly-line type operation where we would not be receiving close personal attention. After eliminating those type dentists we were able to narrow down our choices considerably. From that point we looked at those single dentist with the fewest number of locations. We finally chose Advanced Dental and made our appointments. We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted in a very friendly manner both on the phone and when we actually came to the office. From the time we arrived at the office until leaving we were very pleased with the professional manner of all personnel and the cleanliness of the office. We were presented with easy to understand treatment options with no pressure to make immediate choices. My wifes problem with gum issues was treated immediately whereas other dentist in the past had not addressed her problems sufficiently. She was very pleased to have that issue addressed to her satisfaction. We are happy to have made the choice we did in choosing Advanced Dental and look forward to having them deal with any dental issues we might have in the future.

After a lifeime of dental fear, I have finally found the perfect Dental office. From day 1 when I called about an emergency appointment, I was brought in instantly, pain was relieved problem was solved. Treatment plan was made, I was never pressured, I recieved every bit of information needed and it was honest information, I was refered to an amazing specialist for the specialty work that I need and I am totally confident and comfortable with the referral who was just as professional and informational as my home office. I can not find the words to express to the entire crew at Las Cruces Family Dental. I have absolutley nomore fear of the dental procedures and have never been more comfortable with a detal provider! Dr. Reider is absolutly amazeing. I will be a patient for life along with all of my family members. Def. reccomend this office to anyone who is looking for a truthful honest and most of all careing enviornment. I am sure I will never fall behind on my regularly scheduled appointments now that I have found Las Cruces Family Dental. Thank you guys for all you do! You will never know the impact you have made on me and I am sure many other patients YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

Dr. Reiter will be honest and considerate about your needs. The staff Advanced Dental is wonderful! They put you at ease and really show they care. Ive never had the courtesy of a tour of a dental facility prior to being called back before coming to Advanced Dental! Little touches like that really help ease "dentist anxiety"! I cant say enough about how well youll be treated at Advanced Dental! If youve been putting off a trip to the dentist out of fear or anxiety - wait no more! Go see Dr. Reiter and his fantastic staff! Samantha and Stephanie are so kind! Vanessa, is spectacular and really goes the extra mile to make sure you understand everything in you treatment plan, what to expect with insurance, and how payments can work. Lori is amazing and has the best "chairside" manner Ive ever seen in a dentists office - she wants you to know whats going on and be put at ease! Dr. Reiter, himself, is straight-forward, forward thinking, and genuinely seems to care about your dental/oral health and understands how you smile impacts your life!!

Love Advanced Dental... have been with them for 2 years now and theyve always been friendly, professional, extremely knowledgable, up front about the cost of a recommended procedure, and timely with appointments. Have never left their office worried whether they were trying to sell me products or procedures I didnt need. And when I did have a problem (receding gums on two teeth), Dr. Reiter took time to explain the problem in detail, how it developed over time, and what the prognosis would be if left untreated. There was no pressuring, no arm-twisting, and they gave me an accurate estimate of what it would cost me out of pocket to be fitted for a mouth guard after my insurance covered the allowed %. Finally, they are extremely careful when theyre in your mouth:) Ive been to dentists before who treated my teeth like they were construction workers. The hygienists are careful, gentle, and explains things up front so youre never surprised or wondering what the instrument is thats being put in your mouth. Cant recommend them highly enough.
