I was not surprised when i saw these poor reviews after my visit there. I had just moved to LR and this was the closest to my house so I gave it a try. I walked out asking myself, "What just happened here?" Is this place for real?" As the other reviews have said, I liked the eye doctor- very friendly, but his staff is unprofessional, and more than able to screw up and never fix it. They could not answer any of my questions regarding vision, insurance coverage, or what all my coverage money was being spent on, but they could carry on a very loud, slandering conversation about the previous customer who came in before me. I also remember one lady half in and half out of the door smoking- thats when I asked myself..."what is this place?" How do they continue to stay in business." So I guess you can figure that was my last visit after getting my contacts 3 wks later.

This place is a joke. I do not know how they have stayed in business for as long as they have. First, I had my exam in November of 2009, Barbara did not file the insurance claim until January of 2010. This screws up my whole eye insurance and on top of that is insurance fraud. I asked them on the day of my exam to order my two boxes of contacts per eye and when they came in 3 months later I got one box of contacts that was not the right prescription in the beginning. And am STILL waiting on my contacts to come in from my exam in November. I am beyond fed up with this place. They have done a lot of under the table B.S. that I do not want to put up with any longer. I do not recommend anyone going to this place and expecting to get anything.

They dont tell you it takes them a month to order your contacts when you go in for your visit. I was on my last pair and told them several times that i needed my new ones right away. Unfortunately they decided they could make more money off me if i ordered through them. The reason this is so unfortunate is because they wait until they have enough orders to make the shipping worth their while. I have been waiting 2 1/2 weeks already and they have told me it will be another 1 1/2 weeks before I recieve my order. I was MISLED and intend on consulting a lawyer to see what my options are. If you go here PREPARE TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF.

I used them for near 10 years. The Doctor is an amazingly nice man, but their Office staff is inept idiots that have no idea of how to treat a customer. My wife ordered glasses it took them over a month to tell her they were back ordered. After three months the frames came in. Then they tell us we have to wait for the lenses. I complained and was talked to like a child and yelled at. I don’t care what they think, their Job is customer service and the customer is not talked to the way I was spoken to. If Dr. Thomason ever reads this you need to fire that Woman (I use that term loosely).

I moved to LR and needed a new eye doctor. My appt lasted about 25 minutes and that included waiting for him to get to the office, the eye exam, pay, and leave. The exam consisted of him asking me what my previous prescription was and saying... "Then, thats what you are." I told him I felt my vision was weaker in one eye. Then, he tested my eyes but nothing like I’ve had before. He gave me the prescription I told him earlier (which I wasn’t even sure was correct) and off I went. He didn’t put much effort into the visit. Definitely not worth the $75 bucks to see him.

In-store customer service is horrible. The optometrist is good and personable, but dealing with the front store desk and the office desk are different stories. Their online contact reordering service is horrible and I wish I had not even tried to mess with it. I hate to say this about a local business, but unless you live in the neighborhood and dont have a car, go somewhere else.

The doctor is very charming, funny, and he knows his stuff! I had read on previous reviews that the staff was not very helpful, but we decided to try this place out. Im glad we did! The staff was friendly and helped me find a new style of glasses that fit my face.

My experience at west little rock eye care was phenomenal. Reception was friendly and polite. Dr Jamie was very kind and knowledgeable. He didnt talk down, he joked but was professional. This was a wonderful experience. This is my new eye care home

I am not sure where the old reviews came from. Dr. Johnson is very thorough and his staff is amazing. I scratched my year old glasses and they warranted them. They are professional with humor!!! Yay! Go there you will not be disappointed!

Excellent experience. Had an appointment last week and already received my glasses. Dr. Johnson exceeded my expectations and the staff was great. The clinic has had an uplift and looks good. Glasses lady is hot. I will be going back.

Im not sure how anyone could leave disappointed. I use Dr. Johnson for all of my familys vision exams. Picking out glasses are never easy but those girls make sure that the frame fits and looks good.
