I have brought my daughter there for 3 visits-- 2 routine visits and one for a particular issue. Each time the front desk staff were rude, disorganized and kept me waiting over a half hour past my appointment. My experience with them on the phone was mixed: from very helpful to again rude and impatient. The doctor we saw was not at all helpful or understanding. I ended up requesting a referral to a specialist and am researching a new pediatrician. I gave the practice a couple of chances, but I am not about to put us through that nonsense again.

I brought my 9 month old son here after having disappointing experiences across the hall at another office. He had just reacted to peanuts a week prior and was in full body hives. Ms. Wineman, the nurse practitioner, took her time to get to know us. We left with confidence in our plan and an appointment with an allergist who turned out to be super helpful, too. Primary is now our go-to office. The staff are super caring and work to get you seen fast. Thank you, primary!

I absolutely adore the Primary Pediatrics office in Alameda! The staff is amazing from the front desk staff, to the nurses, to the doctors and NP! They remember my boys and always get us in as soon as possible when either of them are sick. I couldnt be happier here and Im definitely going to continue coming here!!!

I have 3 kids so we are here a lot. Dr. Huffman is the best, and the staff have always been great too.
