GREAT hospital. I was recommended to go here by several people who have taken their pets their for years. When I first went I was a bit cautious because it looked like it was in a run-down strip mall, but dont let that fool you. The office is clean and the staff is super-nice and show genuine care towards my pets. I have 3 pitbulls and they definitely know how to handle them. At pasts vets, my dogs would be fearful just as soon as wed get in the parking lot! But here, my dogs are actually happy to see the vet techs. Dr. Kim doesnt mess around, he gives it to you straight and what he recommends. I appreciate that. The most important thing to me is that my dogs are well taken care of, but it does help that they have great prices. And I feel they genuinely try to help you out money-wise. For example, a couple of times Dr. Kim has suggested for us to use a couple of household first-aid products, when he could have just prescribed something. Also, the reason I first went was because my dog had a wheezing cough that 2 other vets said was allergies (by just looking at her, I didnt see them run test or anything). Dr. Kim took extra time with her and found out she has a collapsed tracchea. I was finally able to treat her for her condition after that. As I mentioned, their hospital is not all cute and extravagant...but think of it this way...those other places charge super-high prices to keep up with their overhead. I think this hospital just does the job as it should be. No wonder they dont move to a more upscale location, they dont overcharge their customers ridiculous prices to get that kind of money.

Stay away! Go to Covina Animal Hospital instead! The office staff lied to me about the care they were willing to give my cats. Instead of saving money by going to this vet instead of our regular one, I wasted time and money dealing with an untrustworthy office staff. I KNOW my cat is carrying the bacteria that causes Cat Scratch Disease because I HAVE IT. The staff told me that they would just prescribe the antibiotic for my cat, without needing to do the testing, since she scratched me and I now have the disease. After I got there, they decided that Id need to have the blood test done on the cat and wait, rather than just getting a prescription for the antibiotics. So, instead of saving $50 by going to a cheaper vet, I wasted my time and $70 by going here. Stay away! Go to Covina Animal Hospital instead!

Took a 7 month old chihuahua there that was not able to get its vaccinations yet, dr kim diagnosed her with gastroenteritis, and told us to come back in 2-3 days if she got worse. In 2 days she was pooping her intestines out and had to be put down. When we called other vets asking what we should do, they immediately recognized her condition as the parvo virus, which has a 95% mortality rate if untreated. If Dr Kim would have done a parvo test when she was in the office she would have had a much better chance. I would also recommend covina animal hospital over this place.

Made an appointment for 9:45am, showed up at 9:40 and no one greeted me they just said sign in then threw the board on the counter. 20 minutes after waiting they asked if I filled out a form and I said no. Filled it out turned it in another 20 min wait and they finally talk to me. The ask for my dogs records and then say its not valid and I need to give her the shots again for them to see her. Basically made me wait over 40 minutes to say they cant see my dog unless they vaccinate her again when it was done 4 months ago. Ridiculous waste of my time and horrible service.

Dr. Kim takes care of every animal in the facility and they have a handful of helpful and friendly staffs. They are very professional and clean. Its important they treat your animal with lots of care. Compare to other vet clinics, this place is reasonable in price and they do a good job, following up with the status of your pet.

dr Kim cares about his patients and their budgets. hes reasonable and does not try and upsell you with added junk. hes not rushed and takes his time and has never kept us waiting for hours when we enter an available room. Ill continue bringing my pet to this location if I move within a 50 mile radius.

My cat Abigail is a pure bred Abyssinian and she is made to feel like a little princess when she goes there, the entire staff is just fantastic, the Doctor explains everything in detail, and so does the staff, also no question is left unanswered. Very, very clean!!!

Called to make an appointment and had me on hold for about 8 mins exactly! Called back again and they hung up on me. The price may be good but their customer service is extremely poor. So upset.
