While I do not have an issue with Dr. Yu at this time, I have had a very difficult time with a member of his staff who runs the front. She has projected extreme disinterest with my questions and concerns, to the point of being rude. She informed me that she had overheard a conversation I and the doctor had had on the phone and intimated that it really wasnt important enough for me to be following up on. When I tried to call her on that inappropriate sentiment, she shouted me down in a manner straight out of "Jerry Springer." That was bad enough . . . but why was she listening to the call in the first place? Its unfortunate that Dr. Yu has chosen a person like that to represent him -- it only takes a one to wreck the entire image of his practice. He is a good doctor, but when a patient has to get past low-functioning individual like that, it almost doesnt seem worth it.

Had my baby about a week ago at mercy sw she just happen to waited right till he got to the hospital and was ready and he even shook my hand after everything was done not to many doctors do that. Ever. Dr. Yu is one of the best and Im very picky when it comes to doctors ! I had Dr. Park with my first child so I was kinda nervous for a new doctor because I loved Dr. Park and his humor and because he would actually sit down and listen to what you had to say. Dr. Yu makes you feel very welcome and answers all your questions and doesnt make you feel rushed when you talk to him and takes his time with you. I dont see how he has bad reviews because he is an amazing Doctor!! Makes me kind of sad I wont have appointments with him anymore besides check ups anymore. Overall I love Dr. Yu he is once again amazing!

I had my baby october 2nd, about 10 days ago. Dr yu delivered my baby. When he stitched me up, he did a horrible job. I just looked and i cried. I have over lapping skin and im pretty sure he didnt stitch me up all tthe way. Every girl that ive asked that has had a baby and had to be stitched back up told me that there vagina barely different then what it was before. Mine is so screwed up. Its like he was careless when he was stitching me back up. Im so sad.. it looks completely different. It looks horrible. And something has to be done. Its not right at all. Hopefully this can be fixed or something , otherwise i will be contacting my family attorney. Im not over exaggerating either. And something will be done.

NEVER AGAIN AND I MEAN NEVER!!!! DR YU RUSHED THE WHOLE THING SEND ME TOO GET A ULTRASOUND DIDNT KNOW I HAD A MISCARAGE UNTIL MY FOLLOW UP WITH HIM!...IN WHICH HE WAS SUPPOSE TOO TELL ME THE MOMENT HE GOT THE RESULTS!! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID " THEY DIDNT TELL YOU" I ASKED TELL ME WHAT?...HE THEN SAID "YOU WERE 8 WEEKS BUT THEIR WAS NO HEART BEAT YOU HAD A MISCARAGE! WE HAVE 2 OPTIONS THE PILL OR SURGICAL. I TOOK THE PILL AND MAY I ADD IS THE WORST THING EVER THE PAIN IS UNBEARABLE!...DIDNT EXPLAIN NOTHING ABOUT THE PILL NOR THE SIDEAFFECTS DIDNT GIVE ME NO PAIN MEDICINE....ALL HE SAID WAS HERE IS THE PRECEPTION FOLLOW UP IN A WEEK ALL LESS THE 5 MINS...THE WORSTT EVER!!!!!!!

The staff are pleasant and Dr.Yu is quick. The only issue I seem to be having is getting a hold of anyone by phone. The hours set are from 830am to 5am, which Im sure is a typo. But whenever I call in a Friday no one seems to pick up and by the time noon comes around the office is close. Just as this morning (Monday)Ive been trying to call for 20 min now and I get a automated service telling me that the office is now closed. This is a huge inconvenience for me since Im trying to RETURN a call regarding my disability leave. If you could fix this ONE issue Ive found with your office you would have a whole 5☆.

I honestly do not know if the issue is with PAL but he was my sisters doctor before she moved to San Diego mid pregnancy. My sister had her baby on August 20th. She failed her first glucose test and did the 3hr glucose test. Was told by Dr. Yu that she did not have gestational diabetes. Well on August 19th she was admitted to the hospital diagnosed with diabetic ketoacidosis. Early morning on August 20th her baby was born via emergency csection. With a apgar score of 0. Shame on you Dr. Yu she did have gestational diabetes it cost her baby his life.

Im writing on behalf of my daughter. We love Dr. Yu & Brandy Drake! They are both wonderful!! They listen and answer any questions that might be bothering you. Extremely glad my daughter chose to see them both again for this pregnancy. However I cant say the same for the lady that works at the Front Desk scheduling appointments. She is extremely rude...Not sure how two great doctors have someone like that at the front desk!! No customer services skills at all. Looks like I am not the only one that has noticed this by reading the comments below.

I am an older mature female who was referred to Dr. Yu by my daughter. I really like his bedside manner, plus he is very compassionate. However, I find it very difficult at times to reach his office. They are either closed for 1.5 hour lunch or just not answering the phones. Have had problems with being given wrong paperwork for tests. They even billed the wrong insurance company for a recent visit.

Hes a good doctor ... His staff up front bitchs! Every time i called they gave me attitude and never told my doctor what my concerns were. Once told me my 2 year old was crying to loud and i would have to go sit in my hot car with him in 100 degree weather having a.c. isnt the point ...she was rude about it & should have more patients with people.. Hes 2! ... Like I said good doctor bad staff!

Dr. Yu is a great doctor, however, I cannot say the same about his staff. I came to this office because of the reviews I read. I experienced the exact opposite. It makes it very difficult to be able to to have a pleasant visit when you cant even get good quality care. The staff seems uninterested and dont seem to have patient courtesy.

Dr. Yu is AWESOME! I was very happy with him. He delivered all 3 of my healthy babies and when my husband and I decided we were done having children I went to Dr. Yu to have my tubes tied. He always answered all my questions and i never left his office unsattisfied. He is very friendly and PROFFESIONAL!
