When I first walked into this Optometry I was well greeted staff is customer service friendly. But I did have a very bad experience and I would not recommend none of my Family or friends here. When I First walked in I told Dr. Kambiz that I wanted/Needed Rigid gas permeable contact lenses since Ive been wearing those since I got diagnose of the eye condition I have, he told me ok lets run some tests. The very FIRST optometrist that diagnosed me Clearly told me soft lens wouldnt work for me at all. But anyway I told them what I needed they said ok, went through the whole testing checking my vision etc.. I told Dr. Kambiz of my situation and he was very pleased to help, but he wouldnt listen to what I wanted and needed he told me he wanted to start off with soft lens to see how I do. I didnt want to at all I had a feeling it wouldnt workout. I went through various different pairs of soft lens, he kept modifying them but it still wouldnt feel comfortable or my vision wasnt improved. Until finally he told me he was going to go for the Rigid gas permeable contact lenses since he Cleary saw soft lens didnt work out. Ok so we went for it I was very happy that he decided to listen to me, vision was Crystal clear but after a hour of wearing them it would leave me with my eye blood red and started to get a small blister on my eye I told him. He modifyed those then i was able to wear them for couple hours same problem. Hard lens were to tight on the white area of my eye Im sure next one he couldve got it right. BUT this is where I got a big F" U" in my face he said he ran out of the 90 days and I would have to pay out of pocket now. I was very, very upset because he wasted the whole time trying to get me to wear soft lens (for weeks) until the end he decides to go with RPG. My insurance was charge about $3000+ all for what...NOTHING I wasnt able to wear those contacts at all. Had to wait a year to use my insurance again since they give me once a year of contacts. So went to this Optometrist in culver city Dr. Lawrence Yui he ran tests on me again and he CLEARLY TOLD ME AS SOON AS HE SAW MY CONDITION HE SAID YOU CANT NOT WEAR SOFT LENS FOR THE EYE CONDITION YOU HAVE. Then I told him my experience at Dr. Kambiz office he said he doesnt understand why he would want to go with soft lens, they wouldnt help me with my eye condition. Well thanks to Dr. Lawrence Yui got my vision back and able to wear my Rigid gas permeable contact lenses (Hard Lens) for 8+ hours. My advice to Dr. Kambiz listen to your clients!!!

My husband and I recently came here for our annual eye appointments, and we will be making the switch permanent! Dr. Silani was really knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions about issues I had been having with my contacts. He suggested a new brand to use, and its been much better than the previous two brands from another optometrist. He was also really personable so I felt really at ease during my appointment. He had a machine that took a photo of my eyeballs and could see if everything was in healthy condition. This was the first office Ive been to that had that machine and it was cool to see the photo afterward. I was also long overdue on eyeglasses, so I decided to buy a new pair while I was here. I was a little overwhelmed when I saw hundreds of glasses to look through, but the woman who helped me, Ashley, was a pro! She picked out a Tiffany frame that she thought I would like, and they looked great. I still insisted on trying on multiple pairs, but in the end I decided to go with the original pair she suggested. Trust her! I have my eye on a pair of sunglasses there, so I will probably be back before my next appointment. Ive been telling my husband for years that he needed glasses, and was continually frustrated when optometrists would tell him he didnt. He finally went to see Dr. Silani, who confirmed that his prescription was light, but that he did need glasses. Vindication! He decided to go with glasses instead of contacts, and Ashley helped him pick out frames. They have a wide range of styles and prices, and she helped him find a pair that fit his look and his budget. They were able to finish his glasses the same day and when he put them on he was shocked by the difference. He said it was like switching from standard definition to HD and that even my food looked better. We will definitely be back in the future.

Complete Spa Experience for Your Eyes! Ive heard that MiboFlo is typically recommended for those suffering from dry eyes. My husband and I went for our first Eye Exam after moving into the area. We spent a few hours researching doctors. Its not an easy task! Ultimately we decided to go with Dr. Silani because of his fantastic reviews. We were not disappointed. When you initially arrive there are some signs on the front of the street that direct you to the back of a long drive way. I think these signs could be made better, or more professional looking but I found my way to the correct door. The doctor was funny, informative, and ultimately made me SEE that I actually needed glasses! Shocked as I was, I am very happy that we made the decision to visit this professional.

Dr. Silani is an exceptional optometrist. I have a unique computer eye strain problem and have been to many optometrists in the past that were unable to diagnose and treat the problem - Dr. Silani took considerable time to investigate the root cause using state of the art technology, and provided a solution. He also introduced me to new brand of contact lenses that are much more comfortable. I really like that I can schedule appointments and order contact lenses directly from his website, without having to call the office. His office is located in Beverly Hills with free parking behind the building. I highly recommend Dr. Silani - hes one of the best!

From start to finish, my visit with Dr Silanis office was super friendly, professional and refreshingly personable. I was asking Dr. Silani about a purchasing glasses in addition to my contacts and he advised that I wait before doing so to see how the new contact prescription worked out. We talked about long term and short term vision care plans for myself. We reviewed the "fun" machine readings as well and they have the largest selection of eye-wear I have ever seen! I am very glad to have found this office and recommend Dr. Silani to everyone. AND my contact fitting was perfect.
