As embarrassing as it is to admit, I hadnt seen a dentist in YEARS, as a result from so many less than pleasant experiences I have had (pain, anxiety, the sounds, the smell, etc.). As time went by, it became clear to me that, despite my natural aversion to dentists, I needed to get some work done...OK, a lot of work done. I searched the internet for quite some time before I found Dr. Cohen. My search criteria was mainly focused on dentist who cater to people like me, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the Dr. practices in my home town of Covina. During my initial consultation, I was immediately reassured that my past experiences were not at all unique and that my oral condition was not as bad as I had thought. Let me stop here to tell you how ABSOLUTELY friendly and caring Dr. Cohen and his team are. I have NEVER felt so welcome and comforted in the office of a dentist as I did with Dr. Cohen. Now to the treatment. The options presented to me were explained in such a manner that I felt like everyone there was looking out for me. Given my preconceived notions of how any treatment plan would make me feel, the doctor had provided me with options and methods for making my visit as pleasant as possible. I was well prepared for my first treatment and had little to no anxiety to speak of. In fact, I actually became a lot less "afraid" of having procedures performed than I was before meeting Dr. Cohen. I am in the process of getting more work done and I would highly recommend Dr. Cohen and his team to ANYONE, with or without dental anxiety, who is looking for an exceptional experience. In final, Dr. Cohen and his team genuinely care about their patients and their long term care...That goes a LONG WAY with me. Give them a visit, and I am sure you will be more than satisfied.

I first met Dr. Cohen 17+ years ago. During a sailboat race in Long Beach, I had broken a tooth and was in a ton of pain. One of my friends told me to call him because he had fixed her broken front teeth a couple years before. When I called, he said he was on his way down to the beach and might be able to do something that would stop the pain. He actually fixed my tooth on the tailgate of someones pickup truck. Even though he told me that I would need a permanent filling in the future, that "temporary" filling took the pain away, and held for SEVEN years!! Dr. Cohen and his staff always make me feel at home. Usually when I call, they recognize my voice before I even say who I am. I know there are dentists in Long Beach, but, I make the trek up to Covina because I trust his word and his work.

I have been coming to see Dr. Cohen ever since I moved to West Covina over 17 years ago. I wanted to get away from the "dental group" where I didnt know who my dentist would be and wanted a more "personal" feel. After getting to know him and his staff, I also moved my kids from a "kid friendly dentist" as Dr. Cohen also takes young patients and does very well with them (having taken care of his own children). Dr. Cohen has always been professional, friendly, ON TIME, and always provides exceptional service. His staff is wonderful too from the front office Shyla (hope I spelled her name right!) and his lovely wife JoBeth to Louie the hygenist. If youre looking for someone you can trust and feel comfortable with, Dr. Cohen and his office is highly recommended.

This is the kind of dental practice I have been looking for for a number of years. I just wish I had found them sooner. The staff is thorough and professional. They make you feel like they are glad you are there. I have had a problem for quite some time and no one else seemed to know what it was and gave me an "oh well" answer. Dr. Cohen was able to zero in on it right away and gave me the feeling that he cared about it. His exam was complete and he was very open about what he found and what needed to be done. At no time did he try to up-sell anything. He is taking things a step at a time and I am thrilled with the process. I look forward to finally not having to worry about my teeth.

Ive been bringing my family to Dr. Cohen for years, and we drive pretty far to come see him. But its worth crossing the Los Angeles freeways for the personal and quality care we get. One of the things I love is that they always see us on time! They really respect our busy schedule by keeping their office running on time. The front office staff is always friendly and they remember me from visit to visit! My college-age son had cosmetic dental work done to repair sports related damage to his front teeth, and no one can tell - it just looks so natural! I referred my best friend and co-workers to Dr. Cohen and they all thanked me.

Dr Cohen is great! My wife had been afraid to go to the dentist for years. We finally found Dr Cohen, who took the time to calm my wifes nerves and let me sit next to her, hold her hand and comfort her for the first four or five visits. Now she goes for her checkups, cleaning, and any work that she needs and is completely comfortable with her Dentist. The hygienists are very good, he has the latest diagnostic equipment and the entire staff makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend this Doctor and would not think of going elsewhere. He also takes great care of my dental needs as well. Thank you Dr Cohen.

Dr.Cohen is by far the most professional and detail oriented dentist that I have ever come across. Like many people out there, Ive never been a fan of the dentist but the moment you set foot into his office the amazing staff makes you feel quite comfortable and at home! The energy always seems to be positive there, his staff couldnt be friendlier, you dont dread sitting in the "chair" and before you know it, youre on your way out! I highly recommend his work! -Leo P.S. I live in Downey, work in Sun Valley and still make the drive out to his office because I feel I deserve the best dental treatment!

Dr. Cohens office is unlike any dental office that I have ever been to. There is attention to detail and completeness in every part of this office. Everything in my health history was reviewed. Everything about my treatment options was explained. The front office reviewed everything so that I understood all of my options before starting with the treatment. The treatment that I had been so fearful of went just as easy as Dr. Cohen said it would. It feels wonderful and looks perfect!

The hygienist was so gentle and made sure I was comfortable before she started working on my teeth. When I had a question she was very thorough with her answer and added other tips to help me keep my teeth and gums as healthy as possible. Dr Cohen couldnt be. nicer and gentle . His office staff is too notch and will go out of their way to make things as easy as possible.Its just. terrific group of people who really care about their patients and their comfort.
