I initially was sent there through my job for a pain so bad all along my right leg, so the doctor gave me X-rays and told me I needed an MRI, he suspected my problem was in my lower back, I told him my pain was so bad so he gave me naproxen, the next day I called them and told them the naproxen wasnt working at all, they said I needed the MRI to see what the problem was. I Waited a week for the insurance to approve the MRI, finally it was done, I went back to the clinic and they told me I had degenerative disc decease and needed to see an specialist. I told them I needed something other than naproxen because I couldnt take the pain, the doctor said she was going to give me something else, she gave me a prescription for KEFLEX ??,,when I notice the prescription at home I called back and they told me to take the keflex and buy Motrin over the counter for the pain with my own money... after a couple of days of me keept telling them that the pain was so bad they said I needed to wait to see the doctor and tell her about it, I had to go to my daughters doctor a pediatrician who I brought the MRI results to him and he said that he felt bad for me and he gave me Tylenol 3 for a couple of days, until I see my doctor, so I went back on my next app and told her that my daughters doctor gave me Tylenol 3 because you guys wouldnt listen, so she said I will give you something else for pain today,, She gave me Tylenol3 again and gave me treatment for just 6 days and gave an app for 2 weeks, omg.. after I ran out of the medecin I called back and told them the Tylenol 3 doesnt even work let along she gave me treatment for just 6 days the lady who answer the phone said that they couldnt keep giving me controlled substance pills and that I didnt wanted to take the naproxen or the Motrin that I just wanted what I wanted. I try to tell her that I had already took all the naproxens and Motrin because the pain was so bad, SHE STILL WOULNT LISTEN, she said there was nothing they could do for me that I needed to see the specialist and wait another 2 weeks. My tears literally came out. I finally decided to see another clinic so I went to Concentra urgent care, in La Palma. The doctor saw the MRI results and examined me, ask me questions and he told me not only I have degenerative disc decease but also it was so bad that I already had bone spurs in my vertebraes that are pinching the nerve that goes down my leg, and a herniated disc as well, he felt my pain, he told me they should have started me on steroids right away for the inflammation, and he gave me a shot and pain medication. I still need to wait like 2 weeks for the specialist, but they didnt make me feel like I was some kind of junky looking for my next fix from doctor to doctor, because thats the way I felt when I was sitting in the lobby those times I went waiting to see the doctor, the way they would look at me when I would keep getting up from my sit because I couldnt sit for more than 3 minutes with out feeling the unbearable pain, they even called my boss and told him I didnt wanted to take the naproxen that I just wanted controlled substances medication. I waited 3 weeks with this pain so bad and they did NOT CARE. I dont think this clinic helps the patients I think they help the companys that sent the Patients over.
