My family of two cats have been with Dr. Bindra for almost two years now. We have visited with him a few times over shots, health examinations, and when our cats got ill that one time. In all our visits, my husband and I have found Dr. Bindra and his staff to be very professional and caring. Being a first-time cat owner, I have a lot of questions every time I visit (and I know how annoying I can be) but Dr. Bindra understood that. He and his staff would take the time to talk to me about my concerns so I can take better care of my cats. I remember a previous reviewers post on the vet being money grubbing back in early 2009, and kept that in mind in my early interactions with them. More than a year later, I have to say I disagree with that reviewer. Never in any of my visits (regular & emergency) did I get the impression that Dr. Bindra was trying anything more than doing his job and keeping our cats safe and well. Both my husband and I agree that his fees are reasonable. My husband and I appreciate Dr. Bindra for what he does and will continue to have him as our cats vet for many years to come.

They charged me just under $80 to throw a blanket over my dog and give him two vaccinations. He has been at this office at least three times if not more.. I thought maybe he would get to know the doctor, but he didnt like him on his first visit as a new rescue, and it didnt change on later visits.. On this visit I asked for someone else to give the shots, but they said there wasnt anyone else. I asked for a muzzle to be used. But instead the doctor came into the exam room and tried to grab my dog out of my arms. My 12 lb.dog went to a level of aggression I hadnt ever seen before in him. He tried to bite the doctor and his anal glands exploded. They ended up throwing a quilt/blanket over him and charging me for an exam that wasnt ever done. Stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Dr. Bindra! Its been said in several reviews but Ill say it again. Dr. Bindra and his staff at Gold River Pet Hospital are the best ever. A couple of days ago Diezel, my dog, had a six inch laceration on his ribs. It was late afternoon but Dr. Bindra was willing to stay late and stitch him up that night so that he wasnt in pain or danger overnight. Diezel had to be put under for the surgery so Dr. Bindra offered to take time out of his evening to meet us back at the office so that Diezel didnt have to come out of anesthesia by himself or stay overnight. Truly above and beyond service that was greatly appreciated and demonstrated the quality of care that he provides. Thanks again Dr. Bindra.

Dr. Bindra is awesome. He is not only prompt, helpful and very thorough, he is more interested in the health of your pet than taking your money! I needed meds for my dog, found a place online which charged a reasonable price and requested for him to write me a Rx for them. He said that they carried the meds already, and I told him that I could get them for less...Pulled out my phone, showed him the price, he not only matched it, I was able to start my dog on them immediately (and no shipping fees!). Hows that for a progressive vet! I highly recommend him for being not only thorough with care of my dogs, but the most reasonable vet Ive ever had! The staff there, are awesome too!!

Dr. Bindra and his staff have a passion for animals. I have multiple weenies and Dr. Bindra has been wonderful dealing with the herd and their problems. But recently I took in a fospice rescue. Josie was balding and lumpy and only had one eye. With Dr. Bindras help we made her last five months so wonderful. She grew hair, she got shiny and filled out. She played with us and gave wonderful soulful kisses. When it was time, Dr. Bindra and his staff gave us dignity and compassion like I have never experienced. It was lovely and peaceful. Josie felt safe and so did the family. They went above and beyond, He has our trust. Completely.

I have been taking my pets (First my cat Loki, who was a adoption/rescue, and then my cat batman, also a rescue) here for awhile now, couple years... Doctor Bindra and staff are awesome, they work well with the animals (even my grumpy cat who one could swear is a dog he can be such a tough guy...) and works with you as a customer to make you feel at ease with whats going on, and give you options to deal with the situation. I highly recommend this office as I truly feel Dr. Bindra is one of those great vets who truly loves every single animal that comes through his door, and wants to make sure they are all taken care of.

I took my cat "Sister" in on Saturday for the first time! I was very impressed! The doctor explained to me my options knowing that cost was a factor for me. He was very generous in what he gave- information and services. The staff were all professional and friendly too. I have had to call twice since then with new symptoms, and both times I was able to talk to the Doctor on the phone. I did take her back in today, and he again, was so helpful! I truly feel he has his customers (both human and furry) best interest and pocket book in mind! I will be bringing my other animals in soon (hopefully for a "well" check :)

Dr. Bindra is an amazingly kind, gentle person. He really takes the time to get to know you and your pet. My rescued Chihuahua was terrified of men, so Dr. Bindra got right on the ground and gave my dog cuddles and my dog began to relax straightaway. Dr. Bindra and all his staff are great about actually taking the time to answer all my questions with valid answers, and they are all a pleasure to deal with. I drive all the way from the other side of Sacramento just for Dr. Bindra! I strongly recommend him to anyone who really cares about the well-being of their pets.

Dr Bindra is the best vet we have worked with regarding our special needs cat. The attention, care, and affection he provided to our guy exceeded anything we have ever seen with a vet in 25 years we have cared for cats. His staff is superb - going the extra mile to get the best value and accessibility for ongoing cat needs like diet foods and litter. They are the best!

When my cat needed some extensive dental work done I took him to Dr. Bindra and was amazed at the level of care. The doctor and the staff were so sweet and compassionate. Dr. Bindra took the time to explain every detail to us so we knew exactly what was going to happen and why. I had no problem trusting them and felt completely confident letting them handle my baby.

What a great group of people you cant beat the service and care. I have been going to them for going on 3 years. I have sent friends and family to see the doctor and staff. The best all I can say.. I drive over 20 miles to get there and pass at least 10 pet hospitals. Thanks To All of you at Gold River Mick ,Tina & family
