I decided to visit Dr. Carla Wells after reviewing the massive amount of positive feedback from Yelp and other review boards. Unfortunately, I didnt get a chance to see Dr. Wells despite the fact that I made an appointment three weeks prior. Upon my arrival, the office was a complete zoo! There was a "check-in" line with approximately five other women waiting to be checked-in with only one staff member assisting behind the counter. However, I should note that the staff member was friendly and apologetic for the wait. Appointment was set for 2:15, but they called twice prior to my scheduled appointment day to remind me to arrive at 1:45. No problem. I had all my new patient paperwork filled out and ready to go at 1:45. However, after the staff member checked me in...she says, "Oh, Im sorry. Dr. Wells has been in an emergency delivery for some time. Would you like to wait?" Obviously, these situations occur and I smiled and agreed to wait. However, after waiting 45 minutes and observing other patients ahead of me also waiting and getting impatient...I decided to reschedule. Assuming that I would be seen within the next few days or week...I was told that Dr. Wells next availability was 6 weeks away. So I waited 3 weeks to originally see the doctor and now I have to wait another 6 weeks??? No remorse or accommodations for the fact that the office staff failed to notify the remaining patients on Dr. Wells appointment book that she would most likely be running behind or not showing up due to an emergency delivery. At first, I tried to tell myself that perhaps her back office staff was just "too busy." However, once I walked back to reschedule, they were chuckling and gossiping. I dont think they were busy at all and could have gone the extra mile to inform patients. Im sure Dr. Wells is a great doctor (based on reviews), but I will not be going back to that office. I dont like the hectic atmosphere or incompetent staff members. I rather go elsewhere to ensure my needs are being met appropriately and in a timely manner.

I started seeing Dr. Wells a year ago. I wish I had known her when I delivered my babies. Dr. Wells takes her profession seriously and as a result, she is very thorough with my medical care. I recently had surgery with her and it was a positive experience. Dr. Wells is extremely competent and very knowledgeable. At times, there can be a bit of a wait to get in to see her but it is WELL worth it! I wouldnt trust my health with any other physician. Dr. Wells is caring, explains things in a way I understand them and treats me with compassion. If you are seeking good, quality medical care for your female issues, dont go anywhere else, she is the best!!!!!

Always extremely friendly front desk staff and phone staff (especially the triage nurse.) Anytime Ive had questions, they were answered immediately or timely. I felt valued by every assistant or nurse Ive encountered! Dr. Wells consistently went above and beyond to ensure my healthy pregnancy. She was thorough and detailed, but made sure to keep me as informed as necessary (not too much and not too little.) Her reputation at her office and the hospital was excellent and well deserved! All the doctors and staff have been kind and instill the same peace of mind in their knowledge and standard of care

I went to her for a normal womans wellness check up and also to ask questions about preparing to get pregnant. She was horrible, didnt want to answer questions and what little she did she basically said I was going to have issues and shed see me in 6 mos when I couldnt get pregnant. Then proceeded to walk out the door. HORRIBLE bedside manner. Im certainly not going to go to her when I want to get prego.

They are always very sweet, friendly and accommodating. Information, friendly and accommodating. The entire staff is top notch. Which is why I continue to drive all the way from san Gabriel. I always feel like Im in good hands. Always very caring and yet also to the point. I dont leave questioning or feeling lost. Also I would like to say the ultrasound tech is wonderful as well

The front office receptionist always greet me with a smile. Shes very pleasant to all of the patient waiting. Joul has an excellent customer service skills she makes sure patients are comfortable. She provides detailed info and explains in details procedure Dr. Wells exceeded my expectation. She has tremendous bedside manners. And explains and takes time with patients

Dr. Wells is wonderful! She is very professional, efficient and knowledgeable. My baby girl and I are very lucky to have her as my doctor. I trust her completely! I need extra medical attention because of my Advanced Maternal Age. Dr. Wells takes really good care of me. Im really thankful! I would definitely recommend Dr. Wells to my friends and family.

Before seeing her, I had no idea how good she is. And Id say I do not regret choosing Dr. Well as my OB. She is very sharp and quick in all decisions. She is not only informative but precise in most answers to our questions. I would definitely recomend Dr. Wells to any pregnant woman (including my sister-in-law)!

Dr Wells is one of the best doctors with very good knowledge and professionalism in what she does.She had a office Christmas party which she had to attend at my delivery time,but she took my delivery as a priority one and made my delivery a fantastic one. I would recommend her to everyone.

They do make me feel welcomed. The lady doing the scheduling is especially helpful and worked fast. Very friendly all the time and provides lot of good info. Dr. Wells answered all of our questions and kept us not nervous. Shes very friendly and professional.
