My experience with Dr Tran was good and informative. Like another reviewer, she said my eyes hadnt changed much in the last five years since my previous prescription. I wonder now. (sigh) My terrible experienced began when I picked up my glasses with the new lenses. New glasses required a fitting. A girl from behind the counter addressed the bend by bending the opposite way only for me to point out that an adjustment was still needed. After several ill attempts the employee that usually handles the fitting made one adjustment and I was set with my new, larger lenses. Less than an hour later, while reading emails at work, my glasses broke near the hinge. When I called Blink they offered discounts on replacement frames. With minimal selection, I accepted their offer of new lenses to fit Oakley frames I would purchased. 15 DAYS PASS AND NO GLASSES! I call every other day and hear an explanation responsible for the delay. Explanations began to be repeated excuses. During week two, I called everyday because I was being told my glasses just missed the courier. Finally, Im told that the glasses were held up in QC because of the lense enlargement and the lack of documentation to support it. I finally get my glasses. I wasnt even handed them. I picked them up from the tray and tried them on. They were crooked, dirty and WITHOUT the larger lenses. When I asked for a fitting the girl replied with her chin pressed back into her neck "well,.........I .....iiiiiiii.....uh......" I pulled my glasses back from trying to hand hem over and walked out. Luckily, my employers insurance renews soon and I will get my annual coverage to use elsewhere. The front office is cold,impersonal and unpleasant. I dont know why experience turned the way it did or who was to blame. Nonetheless, I will be patronizing another optometrist.

Although Dr. Tran is nice, the quality of the exam is astonishingly bad. Im not looking for a buddy, I want a doctor. Firstly, I only went here because of my optometrist health care plan BUT I will have to go somewhere else anyway cause i dont trust what she claims my prescription is. And when i told them i wanted contacts, they told me which ones i wanted, i told them Acuvue and not only did they tell me that a) they would take 2 days (they took over 2 weeks) AND b) they cost 80.00 (but then when i started asking questions they realized they over charged me and i got 45.00 refund when i went to pick them up ) 45.00!! -what a scam, AND ALSO c) (which is the worst of all) She had me call my old optometrist in Vancouver to get my 2006 prescription fom him because she SAID she thought my eyes handnt changed enough to warrant a different eye prescription for my contacts but my eye glasses can have her new prescription. WTF! She doesnt know what she is doing...obviously... she mentioned nothing about my minor astigmatism that i remember being told about from my previous optometrist (which i would have gone to but he is over 200 miles away) or about the air supply to my eyes, because i had been showing yellow discoloration... I wonder how much wowrse my eyes have gotten since 2006 and i dont know after going to Dr. Tran, SO if you care about your eye health, i suggest going somewhere else.

I was so impressed by Dr. Tran and her amazing staff...Thank you for such a positive experience!!! First of all, I really respected the knowledge of her staff. Before every preliminary test began, I was told what I would be experiencing and what it was for...you dont get that nowdays. Dr. Tran is brilliant and made me feel extremely comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend Blink Optometry if you want to be serviced by the best of the best!!

I have been a patient of Dr Tran for many years. I completely trust my eye care to her. She is patient, respectful and will listen to you. I would not want to see another doctor. I have also been very satisfied with the numerous pairs of galsses I had. Once, I selected a style that did not fit me well. I was able to exchange them for a more suitable style. I am giving Dr Tran and her courteous staff a 10.
