Overall Review: I just got home from having my permanent bridge put in by Dr. Brian Withers. I can not say enough good things about this dental office, but Im going to try. I moved to LA about four years ago, prior to this, I had the same dentist since I was a baby. I neglected my teeth for the last four years due to the fear of choosing a new dentist that wasnt MY dentist. I took a shot in the dark based on other reviews online, Im very happy with where the shot landed. Because of the length of time since my last dentist visit, I had to go through the gauntlet of the "welcome back to the dentist" routine. All four quads of my mouth needed deep cleaning, as well as a full replacement of my left front bridge (had some decay under it that needed attention). I dreaded all of this, as most anyone would. On top of all of this, I was just weeks away from my healthcare plan running out at work due to my employer going bankrupt. I had to move fast if I was going to have any hope of having my much needed work covered. Karen, Uni, Martha, and Dr Brian Withers all bent over backwards to help expedite the entire process. There wasnt enough time left to schedule me for all the work I needed before my insurance ran out due to their appointments being booked for the upcoming weeks. Karen calledl me every time there was any cancellation at all, giving me a chance to get all of my deep cleanings done in the first two weeks. Then the bridge replacement... Karen managed to expedite the insurance approval by hounding my provider, all just in time to get the work done two days before my insurance ran out, saving me several thousands dollars. I felt like I was being taken care of by people who cared about what happened to me rather then an office that just wanted my money. I am more then happy with all of the work that Dr Brian Withers did for me. My new bridge looks amazing. Even my temporary bridge I had on while they made my permanent one looked great. Thank you Martha! Individual Reviews : Dr Brian Withers - Perfectionist in a good way. If you arent happy with his work, then neither is he. He takes the time to explain the entire process of whatever hes doing. Not in a rush to get out of the room, you feel like you have the time and opportunity get any question on your mind (about your teeth) answered. He is down to earth and easy to talk to. Martha - A Knowledgeable and skilled dental assistant. She is personable and entertaining. You start to forget that you are sitting in the dentist chair waiting to get shots in your mouth due to the pleasant conversation with this woman. She is very attentive to your needs and tries to do anything she can to help you feel more comfortable. Karen - I feel like I owe this sweet lady a bouquet of flowers for everything she did for me. Very understanding and willing to work with whatever schedule you have. She always has a smile on her face and seems genuinely interested in the small talk that one always has to do when sitting in a doctors waiting room. Uni - I didnt get to speak with her as much, but I got the same vibe from her as I did from everyone else in the office in my few interactions with her. Danielle - Great dental hygienist. She could note have made my deep cleaning more pleasant and painless. Very friendly and skilled. I had at least one more person there work in my mouth, although I dont remember her name and she only did one quadrant of the deep cleaning. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a new dentist in the Manhattan Beach area. I would even recommend this office to those out of the area. I live in Palos Verdes, and even though its a little bit of a drive to get to Withers Dental, its worth it 110%.

The apple doesnt fall far from the tree. Dr. Brian Withers, son of Manhattan Beachs finest purveyor of immaculate and precise dental work Dr. James Withers, is someone Ive known all of my life. I can personally and professionally attest to the seamless father/son duo and the Withers professional style, local charm, and exquisite dentistry. After receiving 10 composite fillings in high school from Dr. Withers while attending Mira Costa, I moved on to attend college at the University of Colorado at Boulder... GO BUFFS. After calling Withers Dental for a referral, I went and saw a dentist in Boulder. This dentist was excellent and a member of the American Dental Association, although his office was not as soothing and aesthetically appealing as Withers. He took one look at the work that had been done in my mouth by Dr. Withers and couldnt believe how flawless everything looked and functioned. He said, "Ive been doing this in Boulder for 27 years, and this is World Class dentistry youve got" I proudly said, "Yea, thats Withers Dental youre staring at" Long story short, Im going back this morning, because I chipped my front tooth, and there is NO ONE else I would trust with orthodontically arranged smile. Dr. Brian Withers training from the top dental school and "live training" from his dad have proved to be an excellent combination of talent, skills, overall seamless dentistry. Finding a great dentist is never easy when moving to a new state, but luckily i have great friends that are knowledgeable with doctors and dentists. They suggested that I go to Withers Dental and ask for Danielle. I typically love going to the dentist because I have been lucky to have some great ones and Danielle is just another one to add to my list. She is so sweet and caring, that you can tell she has a passion for what she does. She definitely made my experience enjoyable and I look forward to my next visit. If you plan on visiting this office I would definitely suggest Danielle!!!

Ive been visiting Withers Dental for 10 years plus and cant say enough wonderful things about the service, the atmosphere, the office staff, the dental assistants and the dental hygienists. Dr. James and Dr. Brian Withers are the best father and son team. My current hygienist is Ana Ahlmeyer and shes so awesome!!! Very gentle and thorough. Im your typical "dental chicken," but always look forward to my regular cleanings with Ana. I literally run in there. If youre looking for a new, caring Dental Office, please consider Withers Dental. You wont be disappointed!!

I have been going to Withers Dental for many years. James Withers was my dentist but due to him semi-retiring I now have the pleasure of a new dentist, Brian Withers! I had cracked a tooth recently and had to get a crown. Both Brian and Martha did a great job! Martha is very friendly and explains everything in detail and makes you feel comfortable before all the drilling inside your mouth. Brian is a professional and takes great pride in his work! I am happy to say I will always be a patient at Withers Dental.

I have been going to Dr. Withers for my dental care for the last 10 years. I found him on a recommendation after i wanted a second opinion on getting several cavities filled. I was surprised to learn that not only was the process much easier than the other dentist had described, but they were able to see me right away. Ever since then, Dr. Withers has been my dentist. They have a state of the art office and the Dr. and his staff could not be friendlier.
