Dr. Feld has 3 offices that I know of: Santa Clara, Los Angeles and Palm Desert. I went to the Santa Clara Office, Northern Dental. I initially went to Northern Dental because it was one of the dental offices that accepted my insurance. My complaint was my sensitive teeth.The first dentist I saw, gave me a quick exam without making any eye contact with me, and then recommended a very expensive ($4500) dish for my gum, which I declined. I had never been told I had gum disease before, and my gum never bled. So I requested to see a different dentist to take a look at my two cracked teeth which I thought might be the problem. I was then recommended to get a deep cleaning and scaling by Dr. Azar, which I did, but the sensitivity persisted. Dr. Azar told me that he wasnt concerned about the cracked teeth, but told me to see Dr. Feld who will make me a "new person". I thought Dr. Feld would help me with the teeth sensitivity issue. I later found out he is a TMJ specialist. (I didnt know what TMJ was) I suffer from insomnia and Fibromyelgia, which causes aches and pains all over my body. Feld told me that Fribromyelgia did not exist and that my pain was a result of my misaligned TMJ. Dr. Feld told me all the miracles he had performed, including a wheelchair-bound ex-lawyer. He had stuck 6 sticks of the tongue depressors between his teeth, he could immediately waddle along. He decided that I was a good candidate, because he could stick a tongue depressor between my teeth and I immediately became balanced and strong. He showed me that even he, a 200-lb guy, straining as hard as he could, could not push me over. (Strangely, when I asked my boyfriend to do the same, he could push me over with or without the tongue depressor or appliance.) I am 67 years old and have been a sufferer of Fibromyelgia for over 30 years and have tried all different treatment without success. At this point, I was willing to try his treatment. I handed over all my savings , almost $7000, expecting to be a "new person" in a year. As of 3/17/2014, I did not feel any better than I did when I was first seen by Dr. Feld. Worse than all of the side-effects not mentioned here, the ill-fitted night appliance has put a lot of pressure on one of my bottom teeth loosening it. Without discussing with me, Dr Feld ground my tooth down to accommodate the ill-fitted appliance twice. When it didnt work he ground down another one. Now I have two loose teeth. Wouldnt it make more sense to adjust the appliance than to adjust my teeth to fit it? He told me that I was going to lose my teeth because my teeth were like picket-fence. Then on our way out to the lobby, he stopped by one of the Rosanna’s office which was at the waiting room and loudly announced to her that I had problem with my appliance because my teeth were like picket fence and that he had ground them down. He actually announced my condition to a room-full of people. I had a meeting with Dr. Feld and have decided to discontinue my treatment and requested a partial refund. I really did not want to lose my teeth or to be insulted in front of a room full of strangers. His Admin assistant Rosanna called me to let me know they would refund me $1690, which was not acceptable to me. I went back to see Rosanna and found out, they decided not to refund me until I took down my review. After some consideration, I agreed if they would re-evaluate my refund. . After 2 weeks, she told me that they were willing to refund me $2800, which I accepted . I still havent received my refund nor have I heard from them. All my calls in the past 3 weeks have not been returned or answered.

The surgeon seems to be about quantity over quality. His work is fast paced and not considerate or caring. He is crass and not filtered when it comes to your feelings. He is very smart and experience, but that can sometimes go to a persons head. When I went in for extractions, he acted like I was unconscious in the chair and he just wanted to poke and pull and send me on my way. Basically, I didnt have enough numbing because I was in pain when he extracted (not just the pulling, but actual pain) and when I made it clear that it hurt, he did nothing. Finally when I was done he said, "Aww, it didnt hurt." I looked at him all dumbfounded, huffed and nodded yes! He just walked away and let the front desk deal with me. Im glad Im done and wont be coming back to him.

The service is friendly from all the workers here. Little to no wait with appointment. The doctor is knowledgeable and seems competent, hell aswer your questions. As for the dental technicians or hygienist-im not sure what they are called- their qualifications are questionable. I usually check my mouth aftet exams, I have one of those denal mirrors and noticed that the the area the lady was spending much time scraping appears as if the tooth enamel was scraped into. Just take charge of your teeth health. Direct and stop them if you dont feel comfortable and it might be OK. But everyone is friendly and the doctor will listen to your concerns.

I had dental surgery on my gums because of an infected nerve. I still have problems with it today. Its been bothering me recently I just want the uncomfortable pains to go away. I wish the doctor who attended me wouldve asked me to check back up but he never did. All he told me was if I have problems again to come back and see him. This really sucks because I am out 21 years old and having dental surgery really is uncomfortable and difficult. I hope when I call later today they can see me.

I had braces for only 16 months and as of today I come see a different dental office telling me that my tooth is crooked. What a horrible job did they do here. Very upset. Now I need to spend money again to get invasalign. Ridiculous!
