Best vet practice Ive ever been to. Dr. Yang is very thorough, calm and takes the time to explain things well. He has even called me after office hours in response to questions. The rest of the staff (go Alicia and Vicky!) are great, super nice and helpful. They will even file your pet insurance claims for you which is really nice. The prices here are good, I would say below average for the Bay Area. They try to give you discounts on care/meds whenever possible also. I would pay more and be no less happy, especially when you consider the state of veterinary care today - very overworked and underpaid. Pet health care costs have been rising along with human health costs due to many similar reasons: new technology, high cost of drugs and high education costs/debt loads for providers among other reasons, but vets make significantly less money than human physicians. The level of service provided by Thornhill is even more impressive when you take that into account with their good prices. And Ill also put in a plug for pet insurance: If for no other reason than if, like me, you dont ever want to be put in a position where you have to take money into account when deciding on your pets medical care

Made an appointment several days in advance. Arrive on time. Front desk lets me know they are running 30 minutes behind. They ask me to wait in my car (on a hot and sunny day) because I brought my dog in with concerns about upper respiratory infection and thought it might be kennel cough. The doctor makes it out to my car and does the exam out of my trunk. Decides nothing is wrong with my dog even though he is actively struggling breathing. Charges me $65 and provides no guidance. Please go see a different vet. This was a huge waste of money and time.

Very small outfit. one or two doctors, great customer service. Dont really worry about waiting lines and theres parking in the adjacent driveway. Weve been going to them for a few years, so far so good. For our cats.
