It finally occured to me to write this review even though it has been several years. I took my cat Coco to the Benicia Cat clinic back in the spring of 2004 to board her while I was traveling to and from Europe to prepare for my relocation there to work for the US Goverment. Essentially the clinic did not fully research/disclose and prepare my cat properly for her immigration to Europe and sent me on my way. I flew all the way to Baltimore with Coco only to find out from the US officals that she did not have the required rabies vaccine age (>30 day but less than a year old) and she could not come with me. I called Dr. Brisbin in tears and he was a complete jerk to me-saying he had to go and take care of customers (his cash paying customers of which I was no longer a member of because I was moving abroad). I had only 4 hours to scramble and find a local boarding facility that would come to the airport and take poor Coco and house her until she met the requirement. Coco is still with me after all these years and having been to several vets since then both in Europe and here after I have returned, I have described this event to them and they have all agreed that the clinic did not do their job correctly. Dr Brisbin is a very self serving person and can show his true colors when faced with difficult problems.

Benicia Cat Clinic (both Dr. Rau and Dr. Brisbin) have been absolutely wonderful over the years since we discovered them and are truly an excellent and caring place to take your furry children. I cannot speak highly enough of them. The office staff and vet assistants have also been wonderful and I always know my kitties are being taken care of by people who truly care.

We have been taking our cats to Benicia Cat Clinic for about 10 years. Dr Brisbin has always been great with our two cats and our latest Savannah Cat is with Dr Rau- who has been amazing!! We have also boarded our cat and were very happy with the care. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring place to take their furbabies.

The vet that used to take care of our cat retired recently, so we brought him to see Dr. Rau. She was very thorough and listened to his complete medical history. This made us feel very comfortable with her knowledge and care she demonstrated. We will continue to bring Zeus here from now on.

The Benicia Cat Clinic is excellent. I have taken two of my cats there. I have also boarded one of my cats there. I was the most impressed when I had to put my first cat down. Two of the vets went above and beyond by both of them writing me lovely letters afterwards.

Very friendly and caring staff. Boarded my cat for several days and was a nervous fur Mom. They were sooo patient with me. I talked directly with the techs who cared for my cat almost every day. Also they gave him a cuddle session each day.
